Thanks, John!

Honestly, I wish I had a man cave. This is the living room of my apartment that my fiancé and I live in. Let's just say she's "tolerating" it for now... lol What's getting me by now is my convincing her this is all pretty much her fault. The collection began with her buying me a Khal Drogo Pop as a cute random gift last summer and she should have known I'd love these things at first sight. By that point, she fully realized how OCD I can be in these situations!

I do need a gameplan with showcasing my exclusives ( and the dozens of preorders on the way lol ) which means and a third display case seems inevitable.

FYI, for anyone thinking of these LED lights, they are very powerful and not easy on the eye when adjacent to a TV. I turn them on usually while I'm alone and without the TV on. That said, probably gonna move them into the bedroom(but gotta store the 200+ empty boxes somewhere first ](*,) ).

Rebuilt my pop wall. Needed more space so I had to change it up. Got idea bookshelfs ($3.00 for shelf, 50¢ for each bracket) and built my own risers.
25364

I really liked my old setup, but needed the space. Went from about 200 to about 240. Not that much more space but made more space for my video game consoles and games as well. More space but was some work.

Ed, that's one awesome collection you got! WOW. I hope you got a good gameplan for keeping the dust out of there! Your new setup looks like it would create some more maintenance. Back when mine were exposed to the elements and got dusty I would soak in the time it took to clean them up with a makeup brush. I would go down memory lane which each piece remembering how I acquired them...a lot of the great deals I got and some of the ones I overpaid for ](*,) It's crazy how I remember nearly every piece and every situation to get them. I feel like most of us passionate collectors can rehash this journey.

I've seen several signatures throughout the forum referencing this awesome quote and it's so true:

I have yet to meet a collector who feels bad about his collection. Collection is also about the story – the story behind how someone found it and purchased it... (Edgar Paulik)

Haha I hear ya! All of mine are on shelves in the living room as well, the bulk of which is over my desk at the moment. I'll eventually have more shelves in that area, so they will stand out when people come over. I wish I had a back room to keep them all in, but for now that's the ebst I can do. I refuse to put them in the bedroom, mostly because I don't want people to have to go in there to check out my collection, haha.

I gotta say... this is starting to feel pretty good. Nowhere near "complete" if I'm being nit-picky about it... but I'm happy.

I still want the Unmasked variant Pops, the classic Hikari, the Wobblers, the Minis... and of course the elusive Fredpools; but you can't always get what you want.
Ah well... :makeitrain:

Um, I'd be worried about that cat. I have to put all of mine either under glass or 5 feet high (he's 18, so he doesn't jump much anymore) cause he LOVED putting Bender, Mom and Leela on the floor before I realized what I needed to do.

Holy guacamole, that's a nice setup!

Does anyone have a preference for floating shelves? Cheap yet sturdy ones that can hold pops out of box, with room behind for the box? I just cleared out my collection room to paint. Now making blueprints for my display.
