Gamestop Black Widow Shield Exclusive!

Just stopped at one of my local Gamestops this morning and the employee that assisted me asked me about other exclusives they are getting in, so I could preorder them. I told him I already had the Fear Kratos and White Murloc on preorder, but I had him look at the list of exclusives thay had available for preorder anyway. Amazingly enough, he came across a Black Widow exclusive that no one has mentioned yet, so I wanted to let everyone know about it so you can get those preorders in early! The item # and description are as follows:

Item # - 112429

Description - POP Marvel: BlackWidow Shield EXCL

I got a 2 page print out the yesterday. I dont see Black Widow. Did you get a release date? My list only shows all releases up to 7/16/15.

Sorry...no release date info. The employee made it sound like it had just been added to the preorder list, though.

Is this the normal Black Widow from AoU as an "exclusive" or an actual special figure of some kind? Just wondering because i don't know if i should wait until i find it on shelves some where or if the only way to get her is to pre-order from GS.

When i went to pre-order the fear God kratos, the guy at game stop didn't know what it was. So it wouldn't surprise me that lots of stores are clueless about it. Never the less, if it is indeed widow with caps shield. That would be freaking awesome.

Cap's shield, or just "agent of S.H.I.E.L.D." ? I believe you can also preorder regular, non-exclusives at Gamestop. Is this just the upcoming AoA Black Widow pop, that's not exclusive to GS? Or does it specifically say "exclusive", in the system/printout/info?

I asked the same thing when I preordered it and the description indicates that it is an exclusive, not just the regular version!

I saw on one of the Facebook groups I'm apart that someone posted a picture of the list with BW on it and it appears that the end of August is when she comes out (woot woot birthday present for me it seems!)

I was one of those people and I must say it sucked, I just decided that as long as I have one version of that character I am just sticking with that one instead of killing my wallet. I actually just stopped myself from getting the Dorkside toys exclusive R2.

I love how in the party scene she declines trying to lift Mjolnir. It's kind of a nod to that comic. Also like that it's from the Age of Ultron - What If? story line. Cap has also lifted it (see Fear Itself) but I guess his MCU incarnation isn't worthy - yet!

There are some who believe he could lift it and when he realized that he pretended he couldn't

I am not really an avengers fan (I know I know...) but I love captain America so a pop of black widow holding his shield would be pretty neat!
