Sci-Fi Minis

Great things come in mysterious miniature or pint sized packages, but which great thing will it be? It's all a mystery until you open one. Then the fun begins.

I'm in Massachusetts, and of the four Walmarts I've been to recently, only one had a large Funko section (Legacy, ReAction, POPs, Mystery Minis). Two other stores had a few POPs, and one had no Funko products at all.

Well, I went to another Walmart and this one did have a lot of Funko stuff, they had full case of sci fi guys. does anyone happen to know what the layout is for the Walking Dead MMs is? They had like 3 full 24 cases there and I would really want a Governor.

Finally found the Funko section at Walmart here, but unfortunately they have all the minis out of their case and just kinda thrown onto the shelves. They did, however, have more of the Sci Fi minis which I haven't seen since they came and went at HT. Tempted to go back and try my luck at the few rare's that I'm missing.

I finally found a Walmart with these as well. Usually I stray from the blind box stuff but I had to take a chance in hopes of either TRONs, Robocop or ET. 2 boxes were bought and I didn't end up with any of those BUT I did manage to pull a Judge Dredd and... the 1/36 clear Predator. Probably the best luck I've ever had with blind boxes. I think I'll be heading back over and pick a few more up before tomorrow.

I needed three mini's to complete my set. Bought my last three packs (two from a comic store one from Hot Topic) before I stopped buying and resorted to trading my doubles, which consisted mostly of 7 ETs (the little bastard - hate him so much). Got Robby, Jayne and Rocketeer. The last three I needed. I knew good things would come from that leprechaun I ate earlier this morning.

My first haul tempted me to try my luck again. I ended up with ET (sorry studioki, LOL) and Robocop, both of which I wanted. All I need now are both versions of TRON but I think I'll just hit up eBay to save my sanity.

Hit Walmart up yesterday and found 4 left on the shelf. I picked up two and got Robocop (1/12) and Metaluna Mutant (1/24). Still really need the Rocketeer.

There are still a bunch left at my walmart, but so far I've pulled nothing but doubles. Don't know if I want to keep pressing my luck or not.

Only figures I'm missing are Dredd, Mars Attacks, and Rocketeer.

I know how you feel, ive been trying to get a regular Predator, and I now have three Robocops. I think you get to a point where you are trying too hard to find that one you want and end up blowing a bunch of money getting repeats. I was lucky though, I found another walmart that had two cases that were untouched. I worked out a way to figure out which ones were Predators by putting my clear one back in an empty box and shaking it so that then I know what they sound like in the box, and it worked. I feel too nervous to buy any more though now.

Tried my luck again at Walmart, picked up Predator (1/12) & Bloody Predator (1/24).
Just more dups to use towards the Rocketeer.

Those are the 2 that we're missing. I've pulled 3 Metaluna Mutants out of 3 different Wal-Mart stores. It makes me wonder if they're getting the same cases.

I finished my set the other day. I bought 2 full boxes, and then a few singles. Both my boxes came with a Martian. So I was able to just trade doubles for everything I needed. This is the first mini set I have completed.

The first time I pulled from Walmart I got a Mal and a Mutant; everything after that has been commons. The problem is they took the minis out of the display case and just stacked them off on the shelf, so I would have to wade through another 10+ figures to try to find the rarer ones. Already pulled 3 common dupes, so I think I'm about done.

At this point I just need Jayne, Blood Predator and the Rocketeer to complete my set. But I am building an impressive army of Tron guys. It seems like I get at least one every time I buy. I have 3 regular and 4 GITD (and counting?).

Finally had a case show up at my local HT. Couldn't remember any of the layouts, and by the time I'd finished digging around the case, I ended up with dupes of Robby and regular Tron. DOn't really feel like spending more money on more dupes, but on the other hand I'm still missing the two 1/72's...

All I need now is the Rocketeer. Went to Target this morning, couldn't resist the urge so I bought three. At this point, anything I buy has a high probability of being a dupe and these were no exception. I got: 2 Capt. Mal Reynolds and 1 Martian. Nice pull but...

Not sure if this was discussed already but anyone notice that the ratio for Metallic Alien is 1/12 and the regular is 1/24? Don't you think that is odd? I have both out of about 10 tries. BTW my favorite of the set is Judge Dredd!

I like the black xenomorph more than the metallic myself. It just looks... more alien? My favorite is the Mars Attacks with the Metaluna Mutant being a close second.

A lot of the images like that are shown at conventions and not meant to be really seen and as for b-9 he's not in the set just like neo and the cylon got dropped
