The Los Angeles shipping docks union is on strike.

Went to pick up my Luna and saw that their store shipment of her arrived. Didn't get a glitter in my order but I did see a brand new box of MLP minis sitting there and now I finally have my second of the 1/72 chase minis. I got Lyra btw.

Now that there's a reason behind the delay, I'm feeling much better (but to be fair, mine aren't gifts for anyone so I'm not in a huge hurry to get them, lol

I went to Hot Topic today and they had Luna on the shelf. No Tia yet.

In good news, I nabbed another MM and got regular Twilight. Now I have both of hers, which is nice. My list is slowly shrinking!

So no Crystal Celestia has been spotted yet, right? I wonder if the delays have to do with production/design problems...
In fact, the only production Celestia that we HAVE seen looks to me like she has been photo-shopped.

I definitely regret ordering them all together now, that's for sure.

Nothing yet, but I would be very surprised if I don't get one in my orders, no the delays have to do with the strikes at the port in LA/Long Beach..

I wonder how they decided which Hot Topic's would get Luna? I mean, it seems a little more logical to just wait until Luna and Celestia were both at the warehouses before sending them out to the stores and people who ordered. It just seems a little unfair that some Hot Topic's are getting Luna, and some people who pre-ordered her are receiving her...

Regardless of the strike, I think they should've held off sending out the figures to anyone until all of this was resolved.

I'm still okay with waiting, but hearing that people are finding Luna in Hot Topic, and people who pre-ordered Luna and Celestia together (like me) are getting their Luna's... it's just a little weird to me.

Or I could just be bitter because none of the HT's near me have Luna, and I haven't gotten my order. :-k

I have good news about Celestia, she is outta the strike mess, Funko now has her and is shipping her to the distribution centers, from there the preorders will start to go out! Yay cannot wait to have my ponies!

I am super excited about the Funko minis for these girls too, although I guess it will be a while before wave 3 comes out...

I now seriously! I ordered a boatload so I would be very surprised if I didn't get a glitter Celestia, will post pictures here and on my instagram as well as video reviews on my channel!

I hope the series 3 has Celestia, Luna, Queen Chrysalis, Shining Armor, Princess Cadence, etc, all larger sized ponies!

I am worried Chrysalis may be tricky to mold, but she is so popular, I think they will be motivated to make her if possible! I'm sure Princess Cadence is in the cards- I could do without Shining Armor (although of course I'd get him if they made him)

Funko can do it I mean look how Discord and the Princess molds came out, better than anything else ever made. I really want Shining Armor due to the lack of boys, if they made Cadence I would need SA. Crystals of both would be stunning.

I wouldn't expect to see series 3 of the minus until around the 3rd quarter of next year.

And if it's to have the larger ponies that Aquatic listed, I think we'd get the CMC's and Spike as well - smaller molds to offset the cost of the larger molds.

I for the first time have absolutely no clue what is coming next I knew all year pretty much another Princess was coming besides Twilight, but I didn't know for sure who. Now i have no info on next year! I hope we see new protos in January!

I want Shining Armor simply because it'd be nice to get more boy ponies. As a character? Meh, I could do without him. Although I really want a Soarin figure to be made! I'd even make him a tiny pie out of clay. lol

My big want for 2015 is a Queen Chrysalis figure, though. I need more merchandise with her!

Thanks Solstice! I seriously have no idea what will come next we got a ton of mane characters this year and hardly any fan ones

Mane: Twilight, Applejack, Big Mac, Rarity, Discord, Celestia, Luna
Fan: Trixie, Daring Do

So I'm not really sure they have so many they need to make you know, the CMC, Spike, Cadence/Shining. Other super fan ponies like Soarin, Maud Pie? I really want more villains bad, but I know I'm dreaming. Honestly I just really hope to see atleast a couple boys next year.

They have truly terrible customer service. I'd call them about my order, but I don't have 30 minutes to waste on the phone on hold...

Yep, still no shipping. Customer service says that the figures are in their warehouse and it is packaged to ship out, so when I asked if it was going to ship out today since it is packaged the rep backtracked and said it would ship out by next Friday. So i bet they don't have anything boxed and would be amazed if it was packaged in their warehouse since I have not been charged for them yet. The lying is what is so aggravating, if you have a lot of boxes to ship, call Fedex, or UPS, or whomever they use for shipping, they will send an extra truck or two for a few days if you need it. No need to lie about it, the lie will always get you in more trouble than the truth.

Here is the truth right here.

1. Funko finally received Celestia tuesday December 9th
2. Celestia left Funko and is on her way to the distribution centers December 9th
3. Apparently it takes about a week to arrive so expect the orders to start shipping out about December 16th
4. Might be even longer if you didn't order day one (October29th)

UPDATE OMFG:

HT said they received them today shipping out preorders now through tomorrow and on!

I got an email from HT apologizing for the delay. They told me they are refunding the shipping cost, And will ship as soon as they have the items in stock.

Hot Topic charged my account for the figures a couple hours ago (without the 15% discount I was told I would receive), but I didn't get a confirmation email OR a change in the status on their website.

(Slightly worried because I only had enough money for the figures in the account, and since they charged me multiple times when they sent my deadpool, I'm worried they are going to cancel the order because they can only charge it once. :I )

My account was also charged a few hours ago. My status never changed from "shipped" on the site from 11/2, so I'll just be waiting for the email letting me know that my figures are at the store. That's always how it seems to go.

Yep, still no charge here either. Their rep said that mine was in a box and she saw it in a box to ship yesterday. Great customer service there, tell you what you want to hear, unfortunately I just wanted to hear the truth.
