Help Needed Finding Vampire Chase Spikes Please!!!!!!!!!

My heart took an extra beat today. I was walking through B&N, figuring to finish my hunt there, after doing my mall loop, when I saw a Spike sitting with some other boxes. I thought for sure it said Vampire Spike on it, but, no. Then a few feet away, there were two more on the top of their Pop! display. Both regular Spikes. But if dig through all of them, surely there woukd be at least one Vampire, right? I was just there two days ago, so this was new stock. After looking at every Pop! they had in store, I came up empty! My excitement quickly faded. Even my HT and FYE runs were almost a bust. I had a Ship-to-Store order that came in and I hadn't got the email notice so that was a plus.

I can be taken off the list. I went to 6 B&N and had them look in the back since their "in stock" Spikes were not out on the floor

My local comic book store has Vampire Spike but he was marked up to $29.99 which isn't too bad. I passed on that.

Interesting, my retro game store had this for $12.99. I think it slipped through and no one saw it to raise the price. I passed since I've never seen the show. Kinda wish I bought it cause I went back the next day and it was gone.

Just curious how this turned out for everyone AND a friend had a question about his Numbering apparently there are different #'s even though most variant's keep the same #? Any ideas? Thanks

Not so good. we didn't have anyone get an extra. XD And there could be a few reasons for the different numbering. It could be because it's a completely different mold. Or it could be because it also comes in a 3 pack as an HMV exclusive.

retailers aren't supposed to raise the price. The whole point of a Chase is for the collector to be surprised. Case in point, EE Smaug. I paid retail, and was surprised with the Chase when it arrived. I really hope that's not the norm thinking on these things. That would be super sad.

Same thing happened with a Jason I ordered online. Was about to open the box when I noticed the chase sticker! My squeel easily equaled that of my 9yo daughter LOL. My first chase.

My second chase was Vampire Spike. I was at my local comic shop which sells tons of Pops. After pawing through about 6 Spikes hoping to find the Vamp version, I dejectedly brought the few other commons I did have up to the register, lamenting how could they have so many reg and no Vamps. The counter guy pointed behind him and replied "You mean like that one?" Again with the squeel. He said he was waiting to sell it to the "right kind of fan."

I just ended up getting Vampire Spike in the HMV 3 pack with regular Buffy and Angel. These were easily available and still are in stores.

With these things you don't need to be here for a certain amount of time, but you do have to sell at cost.

A friend of mine found one at barnes and noble a week or so ago. So they are out there.

It's always possible, I think spike is 1 in 6 chance. Barnes and noble has sent chases out before so has EE

Just got my first chase this Saturday, Spike, and low and behold at FYE.
Was extremely shocked and happy, they had just got a huge shipment in, plus they was BOGO 1/2 off, so I really got him for $5.50!

Hope everyone can find him who wants him, it's worth the wait.
