it's all "by chance" though unless somebody got a Chase and is selling it themselves and drastically marking the price up because of demand. any order from an actual store could come as a Chase, just like in stores they'll stock Spike and there's a 1 in 6 chance they have a Vampire Spike instead.

ok, two places then, but they still mark them up like resellers do. so instead of just shipping them out, they go through and separate them.

I keep checking the Hot Topics around me (any idea of any other brick and mortar stores to check??) and keep getting told 'they had one but they just sold it'. And none of them will take my information so they can call me if they get another. Seems to be pure luck to find one at this point.

I have an extra one I've been holding on to. I've been trying to get a trade for a chase Freddy, Michael Myers, Jason, Beetlejuice mainly or a combo of metallic blood splattered Sam and Dean.

Dang thats so annoying! I'm down I have been looking for all the buffy figures but I'd love to get my first chase figure and spike would be the best first ever! I'll keep an eye out for everyone else too. On the subject of your managers email i kinda got that feeling... I've been going to the hot topic near me alot and they have been getting pops everyday, but like "the book of life" and "AHS" ones, not a single buffy other then the willow

I know the feeling. Mine is the only store in town isn't carrying to sci fi minis, yet the 3 stores over an hour away all have them.

That's my boyfriends comic book shop, they aren't the best place, but they got a nice selection of pops. Just don't expect to find a chase/convention one for a good price.

Most comic book shops do charge more for variants, I haven't seen a comic book shop ever charge cover price for one. There is only one other comic book store I know of that ever really gets variants, and sometimes they have variants cheaper than $15 (I got a few adventure time and a young avengers varying from $7-$15).

I went to a few comic book shops that were upping the price of the DC villain month comics 3D covers from last year up to $15 (Jokers daughter some stores didn't even put out and flat out told me they sold it online for $80, and other stores put it out for $40-$50). Madness wasn't one of the stores upping their prices, so I respect them for that.

Went to hot topic to get a La Muerte gitd after work today. Wasn't looking for the spike vampire chase, but I found one at hot topic today and couldn't resists. Looks like I'll have to get some more Buffy pops. ](*,)

Where should I be looking for him in the wild, besides HT? Almost all of my collection has been from online (I'm finally just starting to be able to get out more, since before I started collecting) and from HT and B&N. So I haven't really been on a "wild hunt". I know Wal-Mart, Walgreens, Target, all sell Pop!s, should I look there for Spike? Or any other major retailers? I'm hoping to go out today, on my first non HT/B&N hunt.

Best places would be b&n and other bookstores that sell pops I don't think stores like Wal-Mart target and Walgreen will get them since its not something big right now or kid friendly which all of their pops seem to be

Yeah, right now it's pretty much just HT and some comic shops. I was really expecting somneone to have found an extra by now, this is dissapointing.

Luckily found one at my local HT but box on upper left is a bit bent and there is a crease down part of the left side. But Pop Chase Spike is unharmed! Willing to trade! PM! Can send pics if you need to see box.

But do need some help. Doggy ate the box of my HT exclusive Walking Dead Bloody Daryl Dixon in Poncho. Fell off the shelf. If you got one complete in box (preferably near mint box) that really is all I need.

I bought the 3 pack, love it. I think I have given up looking in stores for Vamp Spike. Once the hype dies down a bit, I'm sure he will be much easier to find.
