In the past, there has usually been a Nov/Dec release of ponies I thought (didn't Derpy and Rainbow come out in November originally)?
It has seemed releases have come down to a 3-4 times a year phase.
I would figure that Funko wouldn't jump right into a huge bigger figure wave, but probably go with the model they did for the recent release, with some normal-sized ponies, and 1 bigger figure. The standard/standard/deluxe bit would be a good model. And, since we're all finished with the 'Mane 6,' making people go from release-to-release to get the likes of Celestia, Luna, Chrysalis/etc, makes (money) sense to me.
Just because the bigger figures have been made, doesn't mean we'll get bigger Mystery Minis. I did get Big Mac in the latest MM series 2, and he's been shrunk down to fit in his box (doesn't sit a head-higher than AJ like the larger vinyl figure). Though some have said the MM's of the 'Mane 6,' seem moreso in scale to the larger Discord that came out.
I would like to see a release that would somewhat center around the CMC's, with a 4-pack of them and Spike, and releases also of Cheerilee, and Zecora, whose box might be larger to support the high mohawk she has.
I haven't been able to find any glitters out in the wild except for Discord and that's only because I went to HT after they got their shipment in.
