The Anti-Boop has risen!
She may be a character from an old cartoon series...but those were great old cartoons from an innovative studio that changed animation. This was the same group that also brought Popeye to us (you're not the Anti-Popeye too, are you?).
Many of her cartoons were some of the earliest "music videos", too, with the notables such as Cab Calloway and Louis Armstrong. Her cartoons were also on the racier side, particularly early on...plus she was a cartoon sex symbol, with her gartered leg, short dress, large...um, assets, and dialogue that could be taken more than one way. That was part of the fun, too...she could be racy or innocent, but regardless, she could be enjoyed on multiple levels by all sorts of people, rich or poor, man or woman, young or old. I don't think that there is a modern equivalent , though some might say that she was the Jessica Rabbit of her day (and long after). And as much as I love Mrs. Rabbit, there was much more to Betty Boop.
Still, as Squird said, to each their own.
