Alright, I'm pretty sure my last thread got deleted because it featured some things still considered leaks. SO we are going to be doing this LEAK FREE. Admin, if it was for another reason, please feel free to delete.

I created this thread to discuss people's hopes for more Infinity War POPs after having seen the movie, as not to spoil those in the General Infinity War POP thread.

Again, Below this point are MAJOR INFINITY WAR SPOILERS


Ok, after having a night to think about it, I narrowed my list down a little bit

Regular POPs
- RED SKULL
- Gamora
- Thanos in Armor
- Doctor Strange
- Loki (offering up the Tesseract)

Movie Moments:
-Thanos in Armor and Young Gamora
-Thanos, Gamora and Red Skull on Vormir
-Thanos and Young Gamora in the Soul Realm (my personal favorite scene)
-Vision and Scarlet Witch (maybe her leaning over him as he loses his color)
-Cap vs Thanos

I would also love a new wave of Chrome POPs where each character and color had to do with a stone

- Purple Chrome Thanos (maybe using the frowning face to differentiate itself from the Australia version)
- Orange Chrome Gamora
- Gold/Yellow Chrome Vision
- Blue Chrome Loki or Thor
- Red Chrome Collector
- Green Chrome Doctor Strange

Dust chase! Also, super rare chases (1 in 256?) where the box just has dust/dirt in it. It'll need a little sign to say whose dust it is (Nick Fury dust!). They could do a marketing tie-in and include a little Pop! Dustbuster.

- flying Scarlet Witch
- the new Bucky
- teen Groot with Stormbreaker at the end of his arm
- Thor's new costume
- six arm Strange
- cloaked Red Skull
- black and white Vision
- updated Gamora
- an updated Falcon
- half-transformed Bruce/Hulk

There are so many possibilities. If they do Movie Moments then:

- Wanda destroying the stone or shielding versus Thanos
- Steve holding off Thanos
- literally anyone fighting Thanos
- let me kill him myself

I was surprised they made a Hulk inside Hulkbuster, considering he never fully Hulks out while in the armor. I'm glad we got the full Black Order; I really liked them in the movie, Ebony Maw especially. I'd love an Outrider or 2 to army build. My guesses for a 2nd wave:

- Outrider
- Doctor Strange (six arms)
- Red Haired Scarlet Witch
- Wong
- Groot w/hammer
- Falcon
- White Wolf
- Red Skull
- Grey Vision
- Armored Thanos
- Child Gamora

I'd love to see a 6 inch Eitri as well. Any chance for more Peter Dinklage! And even though she was barely in it, I feel like we need a Maria Hill to finally complete the Avengers.

Also his pops are more on the side of baby groot than what he looks like in the movie and considering they made these before the movie came out and going on the fact Hulk is in the trailers running with the avengers, paired with the much assumed fact that banner was in the hulk buster, it’s easy to think that Hulk busting out of the Hulk Buster was inevitable.

I agree that the Hulkbuster should have been the Bruce Banner inside versus the Hulk busting out. I was disappointment that it did not happen as well.

I vaguely remember something about a new Red Skull for SDCC.

It really doesn't make sense to me regardless, because they have to get everything cleared through Marvel. I'm really dumbfounded they even allowed this to be made, knowing how protective Marvel is of their license. I personally don't think things like this or three variants of civil war crossbones, or anything like it, should get made It just feels like a money grab. Don't get me wrong, some of them look cool, like the different variants of civil war BP, but they just really shouldn't or don't need to be put out. Even the MCC pop to me shouldn't have been the choice, it was in the movie for literally less than a minute and you never even completely saw it. But, just my opinion.

Yeah but Marvel also isn’t gonna say “no don’t do that, that’s something we want spoiled”. Marvel does misdirects. That’s pretty much why all the first wave pops are just standard “saw this look in the trailer” pops. The hulk busting out was a possibility that Marvel was probably ok with them running with. It looks cool, and you do technically see Hulk briefly coming out while he’s in the hulkbuster. Yeah, it’s a money grab. Marvel wasn’t gonna throw them hints and they probably would have let them theorize and make what they want unless somehow Funko just said “let’s make a Red Skull. We don’t know if he’s in it, but eventually he’s gotta return, right? maybe this is it?” Then they’d step in. In the end, if the pops aren’t true to the story, marvel doesn’t look bad, funko does.

Good points, and I can respect what you're saying. I will say it looks cool, I just never really got why they do these things sometimes. Maybe it was made for a misdirect, or maybe just something different. I could see it. Still, I kinda wish they wouldn't do it. It's just a really odd situation all around.

I wouldn't mind seeing a grey/monochromatic version. I will say, Vision had such a brutal movie. He's tied for IM as my favorite, and seeing him die twice was such a bummer. He seemed so close to being rid of that stupid stone, and they couldn't even give the guy a break after what he did to help out at the end! Such a phenomenal movie though. Hoping for a great second wave.

P.S. I know this will NEVER happen, but how phenomenal would a movie moment of everyone almost getting the infinity gauntlet off be?!?
