Missing pieces - Funko releases

Postby Officerdorbz » Thu Aug 24, 2017 2:17 pm

Brian or anyone at Funko, What's up with the bunch of missing # releases in Dorbz? Will those spots be filled or will they be left unfilled? I have seen numerous times that the releases go from 1 to 5 and then down the line from 24 to like 32... (those are hypothetical numbers no the actual case)

The numbering system is pretty loose across all of the lines.. but generally it seems like they have plans for unreleased numbers.

I mean they are just numbers lol

Just pretend the multi-packs (which aren't numbered) go in the gaps.

Couldn't these missing numbers also be items that were planned and then scrapped or canned for various reasons?

Like it's been said, it happens across all lines. Best thing to do is take them all out of the box so you never see the numbers :-D

Correct! They're just like us, in a sense. Sometimes we just need to be free (look at me, no pants!). :D

Exactly! That's why you should take them outside and play with them too. With pants on, of course \:D/

I struggle with this. Love the Dorbz, and I know they look so much better out of the box, but I LOVE the packaging too!
WHAT AM I DOING?!?!?!

Well...since we're on the topic I might as well let my OCD shine...

Missing numbers as of today:

> #157 - #159
> #166
> #220
> #235 - #240
> #258 - #259
> #283
> #321 - #322
> #347
> #356 - #357
> #359 - ##360
> #362 - #363
> #376
> #382 - #385
> (I'm guessing even though we haven't seen box art, the two ST Eleven variants will be #392 and #393)
> #398 - #405

That takes us up to #416 with unknown numbers for the Hot Topic Exclusive Bombshells and their chases.

Math is not my strong suit (and barely a weak suit for that matter) so I might have slipped on a number or two.

I agree, it's definitely a conundrum. The packaging is better than pops imo

They really are. Like you say, the construction of them are better and just the overall visual appeal of them. They just seem to hold up a little better

Wow, nice work compiling that list. I'm interested to see if they release any other ones that fill in the gaps.
