Sad Fact about my Walgreen

When I check Walgreen four times a week for Superior Spider-Man POP, the only thing I found is 7 Olaf......
Why Walgreen always gets my favorite POP

.........
Especially when I'm living in a college town and without car.. :shaking:

I never find anything worth getting at Walgreens either. I just order them on their website or eBay at this point because I never see any of their exclusives I want in store.

One of the Walgreens near me also has a Hiccup fron HTTYD2 hanging out. And tons of Spider-Gwen Unmasked (They are there to mock me-"Remember when you couldn't find one anywhere, and you bought more than one of us with damaged boxes?") I don't know why I leave that one in my rounds.

It's like that in alot of Walgreens, I just play the wait game and buy it online when Walgreens posts it up

For me, I always miss the time when they put their POP on their website. After I found out, I have to very high price in eBay to get the pop I want

The only thing I'm afraid of is I will miss the opportunity..... You know people buy a bunch when the pop is on the website..and after less than 5 mins, all gone!

That was my story for a while until I started talking with employees. I would always greet them and ask how their day was. Crack a joke here and there. After a few visits they began to recognize me. They freely told me when their shipment comes in and around what time it hits the floor. Kindness goes a long way my friend.

My walgreens is terrible at funko pops. Last time I checked they didn't have any. Also, the way they treated their other toys, I feel as if they would just damage all their pops by accident.

My closest Walgreens used to be great with exclusives. Oftentimes, they'd get them way before most stores would. However, that has changed lately. Now, all they have are a bunch of Spider-Gwens, Kanes and HBKs, along with a few other randoms.

I have a few Walgreens that are pretty good with exclusives, it helps that there are entirely too many Walgreens around here, I wouldn't call any great but they get a decent amount of quite a few of the excl.

Tho my area does have a "west side crusher" its sad to see

I've been chronicling my closest Walgreens and I believe part of the problem is they have absolutely 0 stock rotation. They just leave deadstock on the floor and either won't put out or order more until it's gone. At least Gamestop and Hot Topic mark down their slow movers, Walgreens just lets it stagnate indefinitely. The other part they just don't order stock at all. I'll be lucky to see 8 POPs in total when I go along with the same 5 Blue Batman Dorbz and 5 BotB Dorbz that have been there for months. I don't even think the MMs or PSHs have moved stock in months. There is the occasional surprise but the last time they had a new exclusive in stock, the boxes were smashed to crap. Not even in the "Well, it's not noticeable when I put it in my display case" kind of smashed, I mean like a kid punted it across the store and then sat on it. I don't understand how boxes get to this level of damage unless somebody is purposely doing it.

I can get lucky at Walgreens sometimes, depends on where you live and what Walgreens you frequent. Most Walgreens are terrible, but some are decent. The trick to getting exclusives at Walgreens is to go to areas where Funko isn't really popular.

I must be in the minority because the 5-6 Walgreens around me consistenly have whatever I'm looking for. Even managed to find Juggs in a store. Then again I live in the 3rd biggest city in America so maybe population has something to do with it ???

Now WALMART on the other hand ......don't get me started. If it's not an exclusive available online ther is no way I'll see it

I have a store literally across the street from where I live, that I'll check 2-3 times a week and it's always the same Star Wars, Wrestlers or various Marvel pops, and that's it. The same pops every week, even starting to collect dust. I do sometimes take a few hours out of a weekend and hunt the next closest 5-6 stores, but almost never have any luck, so it's kind of annoying, but what can you do.

Hit and miss here. The only thing I really missed out on is their exclusive Rey. Of course it had to be the only version of her I wanted. Grrr!!!

I recently decided to ask when truck days are so I can go on those days instead of wasting time. Lol

We all have these frustrations especially with the randomness of products that come in. I have been able to help and have been helped by great funatics on Funatics helping Funatics pages, specifically the Walgreens help page viewtopic.php?f=96&t=78144

Be sure the check it out. You would be surprised what people can find for you and what you may be able to help out with (sorry, Olaf is not a highly wanted POP

)

My Walgreens has had no new pops for the past 4 months. Just the same Olaf and starwars. Seems like, were I live, no ones buys them, so they just never restock it.

I hear a lot about walgreens damage. I myself have ordered and sold over 500+ pops and dorbz in the last 2-3 years and have yet to get anything damaged. The most I have had is when someone stuck a chewed piece of bubble gum between to boxes and smashed them together

Usually my Walgreens sucks. Still never and probably will not find the General Grevious, Juggernaught or Mace Windu. For some reason, a lot of the Superior Spider-Man Pops are showing up though.

I have 24 Walgreens stores within 10 miles from my house and not a single one has ever had any of the Dorbz exclusives, and I just finally found one single Juggernaut across town. Never saw Deadpool, Mace, and many others. Finally found two of the Guardians of the Galaxy PSHs (despite most being opened and stolen in the store) at a store 20 miles away.

I dread Walgreens getting anything exclusive anymore, because it usually means I'll have to order it online (and usually not from their own site).

I was having trouble finding superior spider man as well in my area. We have 3 walgreens and the very last one I went to, as I was leaving the cashier asked what I was looking for. I told her I was looking for a pop of spiderman and she pulled a box from behind the counter and it was Superior Spider man. She told me that her store started holding the exclusives behind the counter because the same person would come in and buy out all the stock. So they now limit per customer.

In general, I wish more locations would do that. Though that being said a couple weeks back I bought 5 Mace Windu's to hook people on the forum.

Interesting! I may have to start actually asking people for them sometime. I stopped asking usually because they'd go "What's a Funko?" or say whatever is in stock is on the floor.
