Your Favorite Pop(s)!

Today, I was staring at my desk setup and awning at my newly acquired metallic Voltron, thinking about how awesome it looked in person and it got me thinking. What is your favorite Pop(s)! in you collection. This can be determined by paint-job, sculpt, or just general love for the character. Any reason why is valid! I'll start with my top 3!

Metallic Voltron
While I may have recently gotten him, he's by far one of my favorites currently in my collection. The sculpt is already awesome as is, but combined with metallic everything, it really makes the color pop (no pun intended) and never ceases to impress me.

Thresh (From League of Legends)
All of the League pops have fantastic sculpts in my opinion, but Thresh has the best. The amount of detail that went into Thresh's armor and flames is staggering. Not to mention that the great paint job and semi-translucent parts on him made it an all around great Pop! (I would personally love to see a GitD version)

Metallic Hatsune Miku
Okay, I admit, I'm a sucker for a nice metallic Pop! and Miku is no exception. Combine my love for the digital Japanese pop-idol and my love for metallic paint jobs and you get a great design. In my opinion, the metallic color is darker and richer than normal Miku and seems more appropriate than a flat color.

Rey with Speeder Pop Deluxe
I'm a huge Star Wars fan, and Rey quickly became my favorite character after watching TFA. She was amazing in that movie, and her scenes with her speeder really stuck out to me. I loved the look of the speeder the second I saw a piece of concept art of it long before the movie was released. It was my favorite piece of concept art that was leaked. This Pop Deluxe is the single greatest item Funko has ever made, IMO. For a long time it was my no. 1 want for Funko to make, so I was over the moon when it was finally revealed. I was lucky to score it from walmart.com and avoid flippers.

Agent Daisy Johnson
I'm a huge fan of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Daisy is my favorite character from the show. Best show currently on TV, IMO. The most recent season is the best one yet, and one of the greatest seasons of a show I have ever seen. It was amazing. I love the pose on this Pop. It looks like she's about to knock an enemy across the room with her ability.

Rey (Walgreens exclusive)
Another great Rey Pop. My favorite of her regular Pops. I love her main outfit from the movie, but I actually like this one more. I love that it is scene specific, and of such an amazing scene at the end of TFA. Unfortunately I had to cave and buy her off of eBay after doing heavy hunting for her for 5 months. All of the Walgreens in my area are a complete joke, and completely let me down. Unfortunately the side of the box has a big knife slash on it, which wasn't mentioned on the eBay listing, nor was there a picture of that side. The paint on her looks great at least, which matters more.

Great choices! I completely agree on Rey with Speeder. It's one of the few Pops that my dad REALLY wants. Unfortunately, we both missed all the times she went live, so my dad is waiting for when he can find one at a decent price.
I really like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as well, just haven't gotten to picking them up yet. Probably gonna start off with May and Skye for those and expand from there. I really hope they make an AoS Ghost Rider, that would be sweet.

My top three would have to be

Third Place goes to Ludo, this was my first 6 inch and its the only Labyrinth pop ive got or want, I just love Ludo.
Second place goes to Marvin the Martian, one of my all time favorite carton characters.
My current favorite is my very recently acquired Gru. Love despicable me and love the minions but getting Gru by chance at London comic con for £10 on saturday just made my day.

Honorable mentions go to my flocked Mutley, Ike Broflofski, I Hear Gru Mel and the Licker from Resident Evil. I could go on, I love all the ones ive bought.

BoxLunch Star-Lord w/ Walkman
You'll notice a lot of Marvel on my list, because they make up the majority of my collecting, but this one truly is my favorite. Guardians is my favorite movie, and they took the best scene and converted it to a still vinyl form.

Pirate Deadpool
This is a slight lie, as Cowboy Deadpool is my favorite of the Deadpool POPs, but ever since I got the Disney Treasures Pirate Ship, I like putting both the Pirate Deadpool Dorbz and POP on it. Meanwhile, the true owner of the ship has been stranded on the shelf next to them.

Indiana Jones (SDCC Version w/ Idol)
I got this one for Christmas from my dad. When I was younger, Indiana Jones was my hero. More than Spider-Man, more than Luke Skywalker. This one really did a great job of capturing the character. It's a real shame most of you might never get this figure, because it is great.


The Jake Car
technically a ride, but I love that Funko made this, just because there surprisingly aren't many toys of Jake's different forms. Even got it autographed by the VA, John DiMaggio! He's a great guy, tons of fun from just the minute I spent with him.

Those are my four favorite, but then again, I don't really have a favorite pop, because I love them all! But some really take the cake with design, and detail.

I picked my top five for the Funko Photo a Day and it was tough, but each of these mean something to me.
Slash: I've loved GnR for as long as I can remember and Slash is a (guitar) god.
Wishverse Willow: I am a huge Buffy fan and this was the first Pop I tracked down on the resell market.
Marvin the Martian Ride: My fave Looney Tunes character, so this was a no-brainer when it hit the shop.
Jason Voorhees (unmasked): Friday the 13th is a great classic horror franchise and I've seen all the movies dozens of times, but The Final Chapter is definitely one of the best. Plus, this was a super thoughtful gift from my partner because he knew I was dying to add this to our collection
Indiana Jones with Idol: I love all the movies and consequently all my Indys, but this is probably my fave of the three.

He's a Pop that represents the spirit and the adventure of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at the Disney parks. It's been my favorite ride since I was three years old, and my wife and I go to Disney at least once a year and ride it many times. I'll be getting a tattoo of his non-popped self very soon in fact.

Buff Rick and Summer
Rick and Morty is my absolute favorite show right now, and the ECCC exclusive Buff Rick and Summer are the reason I started collecting Funko products in general. They weren't my first Pop characters by any means, but they were absolutely my inspiration to start seriously collecting!

Cosmo the Spacedog
Alright, so Guardians of the Galaxy is my favorite Marvel movie(can't wait to see the second movie!), and the fact that they made a Pop of Cosmo is hilarious to me as it is amazing. I love his detail and just everything about him.

I really love the show Adventure time and this particular one incorporates the main character with my favorite Funko additive, glow in the dark. This is a really difficult decision

The new Peter Pan that just came out recently. He's my favorite Disney character and I'm so happy that they released a new version of him so I could have a chance to own him. He looks awesome and I love the pose on him and the little detail of his stand being made of "fairy dust"

Hawkman and Hawkgirl from the Legends of Tomorrow line. As much as I'd love to own the comic book versions, they're both currently out of my reach. But that said, I love the details on these two Pops a lot. They're also some of my favorite characters from the show as well and I was glad I could pick them up together when I did.

WWII Captain America is probably one of the best pops to come out this year and we're barely halfway to the end. He's got some of the best details and I'm excited they went back to that movie to pull the look for him.

Honorable mentions would definitely be USA McCree from Overwatch and the Poison Ivy Pop. I'd include some others but I don't own them (yet) and I'm just trying to pick from what I currently have. There are so many more that I could name though! Like half of my Star Wars collection or the Chase Star Lord Oh or Lady and the Tramp! Such cute Pops. See? It's too hard for me to just choose three.

Metallica Ok I know they are not released and have not even seen them but based on how much that band means to me and how their music has inspired me they'll become favorites no doubt.

Egon Spengler (Ghostbusters) I'm a big GB fan and he is my all time favorite Ghostbuster. They captured him perfectly with the P.K.E meter

Civil War Spider-man I love action pose pops and the pose on that Spidey is awesome. Also love how the lenses look.

Hoth Princess Leia This Leia outfit has always been my favorite. Carrie looked beautiful in it and the pop turned out amazing.

Top 3 are probably SDCC Indy, Metallic Shazam and Metallic Green Arrow. 3 pops I never thought I would own but by some fortunate circumstances I was able to get them.

I like some pops because when I see them it trigger a song or memory of my past. looking at the responses to this thread I am reminded just how varied and different people's pop preferences are. it's really quite cool and amazing.

1) hot topic Clark Kent Superman reveal. hat. glasses. wind-affected tie being blown.

2) first "uniform" Captain America. he is my guy. captain's orders.

3) Johnny Lawrence karate kid. just an instant trigger you're the best song into my head.

4) Gandalf. instant trigger "YOU SHALL NOT PASS !"

The Notorious Big
Probably my first grail. Of course, I only found out about him after he became vaulted and rare, so it took a long time for me to finally snag him. Worth the searching and money, for sure.

Ghost Godzilla
A monstrous Pop of my favorite Pop variant, glowers. He may not glow the brightest, but he glows the longest of the ones I have. Not to mention, the blue is exquisite. Go, go, Godzilla!

I stumbled across Tossaken on EBay for $14. The description was vague and it would be shipped from the Philippines. I figured it was a gamble, but it paid off. He was sold so cheap because his box had been destroyed prior to shipping, but as a mostly OOB collector, it was worth it. Hes probably the brightest Pop I have.

My absolute favorite Pop. I started collecting way too late in the game for the illustrious Gold V, but seeing V always warms my heart, and reminds me why I love collecting so much.

It changes from time to time but my top 3 have got to be ....

1. Grand Admiral Thrawn - One of my favorite characters in the Star Wars Universe and this is basically the first toy of him in any form.

2. Maleficent Chase - My first and only Chase Pop I have ever got in the wild! Plus it glows in the dark!

3. The Inquisitor - A cool Star Wars character that is not so main stream that everyone and their mom know. He's a bit more obscure and unique.


Now I think the Kelloggs Frosted Flakes Tony the Tiger Pop is going to crack my top 3 once I actually have him!

Loki SDCC (now signed by Stan lee all I need is Tom to sign) it was my first pop ever. When there were no lines and you could walk up and get pops.

Conor mccgregor white shorts ( with the 2 UFC mini belts on his waist ) because I am a very big Conor fan. Always have been since the beginning. I like that he gets in fighters heads and then just destroys them.

Metallic Beerus SDCC16 because this was my first pop since 2012 . As I told my story in the welcome forum I was in a car accident and I was put on the sidelines for years while great pops and toys passed me by.

This is super difficult but I'll do a few.

Mouth from the Goonies: The very first Pop that I bought back in 2013 from Forbidden Planet in NYC. The beginning of my Pop obsession!

WWII Captain America: I know this one comes as a surprise given my avatar. Cap is my favorite Marvel character and I especially love how Marvel and Chris Evans have portrayed him in the films. This classic look is to me the way Cap should look.

Princess Leia as unmasked Boushh: This one just means a lot to me. Between the experience I went through getting it at SDCC to my love of Leia and Carrie Fisher, every time I look at it I smile.

Han Solo with Taunton Pop Deluxe: I was anticipating this one for months! I've always loved Tauntauns and Empire is my favorite SW film.

Grand Admiral Thrawn: In this case, it's less about the figure than what it represents. I read Timothy Zahn's Thrawn trilogy when it first came out and have always been fascinated with the character. He's one of the characters whose loss I most lamented when Lucasfilm hit the reset button on the SW expanded universe. And so I was thrilled when he came back in Rebels and just read and loved the new Thrawn novel from Timothy Zahn.

This is always a difficult task for me. My favorites change all the time but my first Pop ever will always be a favorite. It's a Jawa my husband and son got for me using tickets at Dave and Busters. I love that Jawa.

I adore the Haunted Mansion ghosts because they trigger so many memories and they are so cool.
I also love the Nightmare Before Christmas Mayor. I wanted him for so land plus his head turns.
The new Maleficent is amazing! Her flames are beautiful. I will buy a chase at some point.
I agree with Imagery about Wishverse Willow. I would like to see a Dark Willow. I also love the Vampire Spike chase. I won mine and he was the first chase I ever owned.
I love the Doctor Who and Harry Potter lines but I don't think I can pick a favorite from those. Please don't make me do it.
I agree that the WWII Cap is amazing. I love him.
Now on to my love of Harley. I love them all but I'm currently obsessed with the Animated Series Harley. She's the original and is perfect.

I could go on and on, but those are my favorites for now.
