It may have something to do with the fact that the Rogue One POPs from the first wave are for the most part, shelf warmers.

After being asked for the umpteenth time about this release Funko has become Expert level trollers and I love it. I hope they drag this release out forever. Not that it would keep the obnoxious people from being obnoxious but I find it entertaining. They have stated at least 4 times this Pop is coming soon. Even shown concept art and people still keep asking during the most random of posts by Funko on Twitter.

Well done Funko, well done. Teach that patience.

..no blueprints to the death star, no princess leia getting captured by Darth Vader, no R2D2 and C3PO finding Obi Wan on Tatooine and getting bought by Luke, no stormtroopers following them to Tattooine and killing Luke's Aunt and Uncle, etc etc.

Basically Bohdi is responsible for everything that happens after Episode 3.

They did say that there would be at least one star wars exclusive at SDCC..

Edit: Just fact checked myself, they said there'd be at least one Nickelodeon SDCC, not star wars.

I believe in the past they did say they would have at least one SW exclusive at SDCC. I'm sure they will have at least two.

I don't know why it's such a huge reveal- I'm pretty sure there have ALWAYS been Star Wars POPs at every SDCC, even back to the Wobbler days. Just me?
