New pop rides idea

Please guys at funko, I think a great idea for a new rides line would be the legendary " rat fink & gasser " rides, they would look awesome. And a great way to get the car enthusiasts of the market into funko, they'd look awesome, please funko gods! Please

I actually wouldn't mind if Funko also did their Pop! take on the classic Monsters riding in Dragster model kits from the 1960s...

Imagine a Pop! version of Dracula's Dragster...or any of these guys...

I'd like more comic book based rides. I want a Fantastic Four wave that includes the Fantasticar.

I'm sure this will never happen, but I hope Funko makes a Regular Show ride with Pops in his flying car. Or maybe Bing Bong in his magic rocketship?

Who are you and what are you doing in my brain? I swear my head would explode if they ever did these. I grew up with the Rat Fink models, Deal's Wheels, etc. and to this day have a huge collection of them that I've amassed over the last 20+ years. My whole leg sleeve is devoted to artwork by Deal, Ed Roth and Sonny Dipalma. Funko obviously has a soft spot for the style, just have a look at the Spastik Plastiks, they clearly borrow heavily from the style of Roth and his contemporaries. Yes these would be sweet indeed!

Another man after my own heart! I have all of those models. Actually the Monster Cereal Dorbz Ridez are very reminiscent of those.

I mention this every chance I get...James Bond 007 Aston Martin (old and new), Jet pack, Lotus Esprit "submarine" car, "Little Nellie" gyro-plane, maybe a parachute with the UK flag, scuba gear (not really a ride)...and so many others.

These are my true passion, Deal's Wheels models from the 70's. I have probably the largest collection of Deal's Wheels and memorabilia in the world. I was good friends with the artist/ designer Dave Deal (he also designed all the characters in the Cars movie) up until his passing and have a lot of his original artwork and such, plus the only existing prototype of one of the original models. I also have most of the remaining original store displays too. I loved these when I was a kid in the 70's and have never lost my interest in them. If anyone from Funko is reading this and there is any thought of doing Pop Rides of these, let me know, I can put you in touch with his son who holds all the copyrights to his work now and would be super-excited to see a new project come of Dave's work.

My ideal Pop Ride has to be the Thanos Copter. It will never happen but god knows what I would spend on it if it did.

Supernatural Impala "Baby"- with JOHN Winchester, so we don't get another uneeded Dean.

Batman 1 Batmobile with Keaton Batman
Batman 1 Joker car with Nicholson Joker
X-Men Forge with the BlackBird
Classic Ghost Rider(Dorbz costume) with his classic bike
Danny Ketch Ghost Rider with flaming bike- COMIC version

Would also love some World of Warcraft characters on mounts, but the line doesn't seem to sell well so will probably never see them.

I honestly think they should do a new Nick Fury with the Quinjet. Unless they'd like to make me a Helicarrier instead...

Wow, some really great ideas here!! I was a little surprised that there were ZERO Pop Rides announced during the 12 days and ZERO more announced during Leakapalooza. This is the first time in a long time that I can remember there being none in the pipeline. There's not a single rumor or anything. There are quite a few Dorbz Ridez that have been leaked- Ghost Rider Charger Ridez, additional MotU Ridez, two more Monster Cereal Ridez, George Jetson Ridez, Great Gazoo Ridez. Seems like maybe attention is shifting from Rides to Ridez which is fine, I love Ridez too, but it would be cool to see them throw a few Rides out now and then too :-)

I noticed that as well. I don't have a ton of Pop rides but I still really enjoy the few I have. I was hoping to see some new ones though, maybe one from GotG2 even. Or harry potter. I'm hoping we see some at NY Toy Fair though. I also want to see more pop deluxes.

Me too! I think the Pop Deluxe figures are for all intents and purposes Rides, but I seem to recall reading a while back that there was a licensing issue involved so that may be why they're calling them "Deluxe" figures instead. Brian did mention more SW Deluxe figures were coming this year:

So I guess technically he did announce some "rides" as being on the way :-)

Agreed. I think it works because its one solid mold and you can't detach the character. It's technically one pop (Tauntaun head doesn't even bobble!) so maybe thats how they were able to give us that amazing pop!

I saw that announcement and got so excited! Which is why I was surprised we didn't see any on Monday. :-/
