Will putting POPs in POP Stack hurt it?

Postby reederboy117 » Wed Jul 27, 2016 8:51 pm

I know these pop stacks protectors are suppose to protect your pop in the box but will they hurt the box in anyway like over time or anything? Or is it better to just leave them out of any containers?

With pop stacks you are probably safer than leaving it out of one. You don't have to worry about accidents damaging your box and it will help fight against gravity and keep its shape. Or you could take it out of the box and enjoy the pop ;-) :freddy2:

The only way you are going to hurt it is if you continuously take it out and you damage the box yourself trying to remove/put it back in.

Every time you leave a pop in the box and put in in a protector it dies from lack of fun :D

Each boxes are folded a bit differently apparently. Sometimes when I can't slide the Pop bottom in, I'll take the pop stack bottom lid off and slide it top in. But make sure to be gentle when sliding it in cause it may get caught on the boxes picture area where the character is.

Some Pops are a tight fit so be careful with the edges of the windows. Other than that I've been using Stacks to protect my Pops and I haven't had any issues.

I remove the Pop and insert and then place the box into a protector. Removing the Pop and insert ensures that no undue pressure will be placed on the box distorting it in some way. Then I place the box (inside its protector) into one of the new Pop Vaults. Not sure if you've seen them but it's really, truly the only way to be confident that your valuable box (and stickers!!) will stand the ravages of time. It is fireproof, and my understanding is they're working on a version that's waterproof to minus 50' as well.

Can be a tight fit for some things. Don't force it if it's not going in easily.

I always take the top and bottom off of the protector and try both ends. And if it's a tight fit then you've just got to be real careful. (If someone was reading this without any context this would be an interesting conversation lol)

yeah pop stacks are great just be careful and slowing slide the pop with both the top and bottom lids removed.

i actually brought 23 pop stacks to SDCC, which helped big time.

You forgot the MOST important step. Place Pop and insert into your recycling bin as they are not needed extras anyways.

Sometimes the box is a tight fit and needs to be wiggled side to side...watch out for the corners, because sometimes the white color on the corners will get scraped

I don't think there are good or bad pop stacks. I've only seen some cracked ones and I avoid those. I'd just be very careful when inserting a Pop, if it is having too much trouble going in, I wouldn't push it and that's it.

Take the top and bottom of the POP stack off before putting one in or taking one out. It gives the stack more flexibility so you aren't messing up the edges.

I would say to just make sure you aren't trying to insert the box at an angle. I line up the four corners and ease it in up to the part at the top of the window. Then I lightly press in the front/side to keep them from catching on the rim of the stack.

I'm not sure how easy the pops will be to remove, but I haven't had any trouble putting them in.

All my Pops are in Pop Stacks. I take an armful with me everyday just in case my vehicle gets stuck in the mud I can throw them under the tires for traction.
