So while I still pitch common boxes, I try to keep my exclusive boxes in pristine condition. Unfortunately, this means diddly squat for the exclusives whose boxes I threw out years ago.
Well, lo and behold, Past Steve must've known that these stupid boxes would be important, because I just stumbled across these while cleaning out under my stairs:
I don't know how much Bloody Gauze Eyepatch Governor is worth these days, but I'm ecstatic now that I have Zombie Merle's box again! I'm sure he's not worth that much anymore, but maybe I could get a decent trade out of him now that I have a box to put him in.
Just such a crazy and random discovery. I was a dumb 22-year-old when I first started collecting these things, and I still somehow managed to secretly preserve two fairly-rare boxes.

The prices on WD pieces seem to have come down in the last couple of months, I just bought the bloody bandaged Governor recently on Amazon for 32 bucks (I just checked and it's still available for that). I bought Zombie Merle off of Ebay for 75 bucks about 3 weeks ago. So they may not be worth buckets of money, but they do have some decent value and they are very cool pieces
