Fugitive Toys exclusives

Postby lcarus83 » Thu Aug 06, 2015 4:49 pm

I click that link at the top of their main site and 99.99% of the time it says "no products". What do they get...4 exclusives? Popcultcha has more Fugitive exclusives than Fugitive does. Gemini for the win.

Or is it that we just have too many idiot scalpers here in the States? People here just want that stupid sticker. "OH LOOK A PWETTY THTICKER!"

They usually get exclusives for the cons when they go. I am betting that when we get closer to NYCC we will see some. Fugitive is a great company! And Popcultcha does not have their own exclusives. They are the International Retailer selling the US exclusives.

I like Fugitive. They're great for regular Pops and I like their exclusives. They just never have any. I know PC doesn't have their own exclusives. I was saying they have more of Fugitives exclusives than Fugitive does lol. Which is why I always buy them from there. I don't care about the sticker. But it seems like Gemini has an endless supply of their own exclusives. But Fugitive sells out in an hour and that's all she wrote.

They do sell out pretty fast, so when eye on the web says they're up don't hesitate. On their old site all of the old ones would be up and just say "out of stock". I feel a fair amount of the board members are good willed enough to spread the word here within minutes of an exclusive showing up which I'm greatful for.

Someone sent me an email the other night informing me that the K-3PO was back in stock at B&N. I was so grateful for that. Tis a good community here.

I like my pop boxes to have stickers and i aint no scalper. Folks on this board sound hella clownish when they bash on people who like their boxes with stickers. To each is own but no need to talk down on people on how they want to collect.

But anyways i love fugitive exclusives but their website is hard to search through.

It should have sounded clownish because I was just clowning around. :clown: I like the stickers too I guess, but I'm fine if it doesn't have it. I do find it amusing how the sticker can make a Pop more coveted though. It's just an advertisement basically.

Yup i agree with you jacking up the price because of the sticker is just ridiculous and so unjustified. Me personally i love different exclusive stickers looks pretty dope on the pops i keep in boxes on my shelf lol. What fugitive exclusives you lookin for? Maybe i can help with some because they're usually at toy shows here in the bay. The next ones in September though

The big difference is that Fugitive goes to a lot of shows and conventions where as Gemini doesn't. Gemini sells only online. Fugitive has to hold back stock to sell at the shows they attend.

That's probably it. I believe Toy Tokyo is the same way, right? Because I almost never see their exclusives on the site. They are a brick and mortar store as well?

Yeah most their stuff is convention based and what they have left over if any gets put in store then on line and sell out in minutes

I love sticker discussions. I prefer the sticker. Strictly because I rather support the company that took the financial risk to have their name associated with the figure.

They frequently restock online but its random fugitive exclusives at random times. They had the pink stay puff in stock right before SDCC. Mostly the exclusives go in stock online around the time the conventions they go to, so it is good to watch the site both before and after usually about 3 days before and after. I have had luck getting all the exclusives over time, they have all been restocked. Just gotta check the site in the early mornings and you will get what you are looking for SW4 ....these aren't the droids we're looking for, move along, move along..... SW6

I'd love to support them if they ever had any available. They do have a great selection of regular Pops though. Better than almost any other site. Entertainment Earth would have the most but it seems they're always "temporarily out of stock" on 90% of their Pops. Popcultcha obviously has the best selection of exclusives from all over. Just stinks that with shipping you're looking at around $20 for one Pop.

20 bucks for 1 one sounds painful. For me it comes to about 11 bucks, but its also 11 bucks if I order 5 pops so to I always feel to get my money worth I need to order atleast 3, which is what iv been doing and why im soooo poor right now.

The difference is the US sellers usually actually HAVE items to sell that are listed on their website........Popcultcha sends me about 1 in every 5 things I pay for ordering off their site. But I sure do get lots of 'credits' back from them!

Just venting.......

Oh believe me. I totally understand. I've done plenty of venting on Popcultcha here recently SW10

I still don't know what the point of them is to be totally honest. Other than :makeitrain:

Fugitive gets cooler pop exclusives in my opinion, a lot more super hero stuff which I prefer. That and as mentioned above, they go to a lot of shows and sell there.

One of the reasons is so you can fully appreciate the detail that's in the sculpt alone. Other than that I think it's something kinda cool to have.
