why doesn't funko go to NYCC

Ive always been curious as to why there is no funko booth at New York Comic con. There are no Freddy funkos at NYCC. It's kind of disappointing. The only thing pop wise to look forward to are fugitive toys & toy Tokyo.

I've read somewhere that they don't travel to all cons because the traveling is expensive and inconvenient. But they went to toy fair in NYC this year!

They're going this year! And, if I'm not mistaken, there's an exclusive. Don't hold me on that. I can't remember

They will have their own booth there this year with around 25 exclusives hopefully

It's not like they've been completely absent from cons outside of SDCC in the past, they've done tons of exclusives. Strictly from a financial standpoint, though, I'm sure it costs quite a bit of money for them to travel, set up a booth, and take care of all the logistics that go along with that. Doing exclusives, and letting other vendors sell Funko products at cons is a much easier way to advertise and make money.

Toy Fair is an industry event for them to get their product in stores to make money. So it's kind of important for them to attend.
