Hi, I was wondering did Vinyl Invaders stop after 2012?
I have the two Batman Robot Vinyl Invaders (LE of 480 and LE 360). I thought they looked cool and would continue with different characters.

It's basically them, the regular one and the kiss one which has a gold chase.
Also the le 6 funky color batmans.

From what I've read in older topics they started out with a higher price point which may have turned some people off. Not everything funko makes is popular.

There was a backlash because of the size from Shogun Warrior collectors. Simply put, the Funko ones are too small, regular Shogun Warrior style toys are 24 inches tall.

Well F 'em! (shogun warrior collectors) I was hoping for a few more characters in the Vinyl Invaders line!

Finally got into this Vinyl Invaders and got the Blue Batman, because it reminds me of the Funko Booth
I hope they can make a bigger version

So, is this the entire Invader checklist? If so, I'm 1/8th of the way to being a VI completionist . In terms of quantity, that is. I'm sure I own the cheapest...

I remember these, but I didn't know they were made by Funko! I have the blue/grey colored batman but didn't keep the box. First time I went to Toy Tokyo (my dad takes my sister and me there once every summer) I wanted it but $40 was a bit pricey for what my dad said "doesn't move or light up," I think I ended up getting my first Gundam kit because of that. Anyway, fast forward a couple months to NYCC 2012 end of the show and I bargained with a guy and he sold it to me for $10.

I oddly like those Christmas colored Batmen, besides the black & white Batman and the Kiss one I didn't know there where others. You learn something new everyday!

I wanted a Vinyl Invader but was always waiting for a sale or something. I never had a sense of urgency, and then they were gone from stores. What I was really waiting for was more characters, a Darth Vader or Iron Man Vinyl Invader would have been more exciting to me. I think those characters would look cool with that retro robot style.
