looks like they shipped and sold the wrong one, but it's not rare or a mistake, just sold at the wrong con. But i'm sure someone will fall for it on ebay. There is no "misprint", just the wrong pop/box mix up.

Agree. I know it's not a misprint because the Comikaze version is still numbered 01 and it was the second of the series. Makes me wonder if one of the Excelsior POPs slipped thru the cracks, how many others might be out there.

yeah looks like it's just human error using the wrong box and not paying attention when packing and shipping it. The person selling it on ebay is making it out to be the biggest error/misprint ever

Yeah the seller is capitalizing on making some profit on this one.

Like the Blue Batmobile NYCC that was packaged upside down that one was on Ebay a few weeks back.

Can anyone clarify how the stan lee numbering of the boxes work? I thought the Comicaze was supposed to be number 2 but all the boxes are numbered 1... will all the stan lees just be 1s even though the back of the box shows them as 1 to 5

With the Stan Lees with NYCC, Comikaze, and Excelsior shirts being numbered 01, I'm pretty certain they're keeping it that way for all 5
