I was really hoping they made a small change on Sonic, he looks too mean. It was a childhood favorite of mine so Ill probably still pick these up.

Yeah, he sure does! When I think of Sonic I picture a happy go lucky hedgehog, not a hedgehog with rabies.

He might look mean because of the white eyes. Maybe they'll change that like they did the sponge bob pops

I love knuckles and tails! Like most of you said, sonic looks a little scary. I think black eyes would have been better but I'm still excited to get these!

Never was fond of sonic and this pop isn't helping it.

Strange that they went in the vanilla Pop set.

Though I guess there wasn't a video game section to put them.

Have no idea what set they are in. But if it's a "video game" one, I think from the catalog they are supposed to make Mass Effect and Diablo POP!s as well. They showed pics for 2 each. So there would just be one unaccounted for which maybe announced later? But this is all pure speculation on my part.

Aren't They continuing from Plants Vs. Zombies? I think Halo is it's own series, since there are 6 Halo figures and not 5.

Sonic's eyes are a little disappointing but I grew up on Sonic and will definitely get the set. I have a Tails plush in my car. I second whomever said a Shadow!!

I am supposed to be focusing on Batman, but with all the hours I spent playing Sonic growing up, I have to grab these. Sonic always had an edge (did you guys ever leave him waiting? He was quick to get an attitude), but he never looked this mean. He sort of looks possessed. I'm still going to get him though.

seeing all 3 sonic pops side by side makes the theme song for the game Sonic Heroes play in my head.

Maybe they'll make the other teams from that game!

Espio pop anyone?

(actually I'm a huge Archie Sonic fan and any characters from that would be SWEET AS HECK!... but unlikely)

we actually don't know that these follow PvZ, until we see boxes for some of the other video game characters coming out this year. for instance, on funko.com, the PvZ characters are specifically listed as "Pop! Plants Vs. Zombies" while Sonic/Tails/Knuckles are called "Pop! Games." Perhaps Mass Effect characters will be the first 5 in a new Games series, because there are 5 characters listed in the catalog.

1- Commander Shepard
2- Miranda
3- Tali
4- Garrus
5- Grunt

until we have more information, there are just too many variables to determine where these guys fit. for all we know, they're 6-8 in a sonic the hedgehog series, and we'll never get 1-5. or maybe 1-5 get filled in later with exclusives like shadow and super sonic.

so the question remains... why are these numbered 6-8? but unfortunately, there's no answer yet.
