Awhile back, one of Todd's sales was for the set of glow Freddy Pez wobblers. I already had the green & blue, but was missing the white one to complete the set. I didn't really want to spend the money and buy all three, though in retrospect, I'm sure I could have easily sold the 2 I didn't need to another board member. Our resident Queen of Funko, Carol, bought the set...and offered up the individual pieces to those who needed/wanted them...at her cost! They were sent to John (videguy), who was to pass them on.
Long story short...my white one got lost...and so my set remained incomplete.
Today, I picked up a package at the post office. Expecting it to be the Halo set of POP!, or Buddy The Elf...both of which I'm waiting for, imagine my surprise when it was neither!
Instead...it was a white glow Freddy pez wobbler!!! Having heard the story of my lost one, John found one on ebay, bought it, and sent it to me!!! AND, as if that weren't great enough as it is...my request to reimburse him for his purchase have been rebuffed, as he feels partially responsible for the "loss"...which he ISN'T!!!
Knowing John, he probably didn't want this public display of admiration...but for a great gesture like this, I felt everyone should know what a great guy he is!
I'm totally floored...
