Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus!

Postby TulaBug » Wed Dec 19, 2012 9:24 pm

There was a Christmas miracle at my house today. Remember the Freddy proto that Shorty57 gifted to me because Fed Ex lost mine. Well guess what the Fed Ex driver brought to me today...

Image

You can't even imagine my surprise when the Fed Ex driver handed me a box from the fulfillment center at Funko. The Fed Ex driver was talking and my mind was going a mile a minute so I had to ask him to repeat what he had just told me. He said that he had gone to all the houses that he thought he had delivered my Freddy to and sure enough... Whoever had Freddy had never even looked at their Christmas packages so they didn't know that they had someone elses packages. Freddy was a little shaken but in perfect shape. I'm letting him visit with Shantay's Freddy so they can get to know each other. They are special brothers after all! Then after the Christmas bustle I will be sending Shantay her Freddy back with a little extra care.

Shanaty, I will be so happy to get your Freddy back to you! Thank you for sending him to me. You are a very special person!!!

Big congrats Stacey! That must be a huge relief and also removes a hole on the Freddy proto list.

Love that pic of them two! You are so welcome! I'm glad that you got yours tho. Now you won't have to wonder anymore! :)
It's a Christmas Miracle! (Yes, I believe in those!)

You were always someone who deserved one of those adorable Freddy protos! I'm glad everything worked out for you. And I'm glad, that if only for a little while, I was able to be a part of that. :)

Yay! I'm so glad that your lost little Freddy made his way home! Good customer service from the Fed Ex driver who retraced his steps to find the package. Now the Freddy you had on loan can now go back to the wonderful Shantay. And there was much rejoicing.

What a wonderful life. And a wonderful Christmas story. =D> =D> =D>

Gave me the warm and fuzzies. Speaking of warm and fuzzies.......

Reminds me of a story of when a family went camping on the west coast during their cross country trip. One starlit evening while sitting by the crackling fire, their their beloved dog slowly walks into the woods and does not return.

A year later, back at home in the countryside of Connecticut on a snowy Christmas morning, they hear some scampering on their front porch. After taking the freshly baked cookies out of the oven, and lovingly placing then on the countertop, the entire family is drawn to the sounds beyond their front door.

Lo and behold, as they open the door with its freshly decorated wreath hanging just as they had placed it the night before, they all looked down, and were quickly sprayed by a visiting skunk.

The end.
.

Craig here......
