Wow...Pretty Disappointing [-(

As much as I LOVE Spongebob I just Hate their pop! Just did not transition well. Spongebob looks a little too chunky and those eyes! OY VEY!

Great find James! I like them, but some are definitely done better than others. I agree that Spongebob's eyes don't look right.

I'm torn with these. The sculps and colors look good but the eyes just kill them. At this point I would probably just buy Patrick and Sandy.

I love them with the exception of Spongebob and Krabb's eyes...

Spongebob would look sooooooooooo much better with regular black eyes.

Krabb needs something to change around his eyes, it just looks like a mistake almost. I really hope Krabb's eyes especially gets something adjusted pain wise.

No Phototshop on this computer...I did this on the cheap in Paint. It's crude, but it's way closer to what I think we were expecting.

They don't have pupils because that's the Pop! style. If they had pupils then it'd be just any other vinyl figure. I'm glad funko kept their spin on these.

love patrick and squidward, indifferent on sandy, spongebob and krabs are a little odd.

but look at something like gir or the toy story alien, or even mike wazowski. i think the spongebob problem is that he needs that sort of 'eyeball' effect. i like the large white circle eyes on wishingwell's mock-up, but think maybe the two-toned (blue AND black) center is too much -- it should just be either blue or black. that would mix the spongebob look with the pop look pretty nicely, i think, without breaking any pop rules.

but whatever, still gonna get the full set.
