My 4 yr old Realizes Dad has his own toys haha

My 4 year old came by my office on campus the other day and saw my bookshelf with the 80 or so Pops that I keep on it (My office hours always diverge from a student wanting help on a paper to what are those sir!). She looks at me and goes 'Whoa Dada, you have lots of toys." lol

So I then tried to explain to her that they weren't toys but yeah lost cause. Then this morning in front of all the parents at her Pre-K she looked up at me and said "Dada, can we go to your office and play with your toys after school?" Parents started laughing and I just decided that calling them "collectible vinyl figurines" wasn't helping my cause. lol

LOL that funny/ cute. my dad still has toys some of them are mine and my brothers old toys and he says he keeps them because he remembers back to when we where kids and how much fun we had with them.

At an early age (3) I taught my son the difference between toys and collectibles. Got him a few of his own too and now he knows the difference. He now always wants to look at my collectibles, but knows he can't touch and no one can play with them.

That's awesome I hope when I eventually have a son he understands the difference between toys and collectables like I did

I've been trying to teach my daughter the difference between daddies toys and her toys from the moment she was born.
