What are shipping/Con prices for Forbidden Planet like?

Prices are great there! Pops are £15 each and shipping is really cheap to the US according to fellow collectors from there. It's like £2.85 here in Europe.

Thanks for the info! Do they usually have Toy Tokyo items? I have my eye on a Mega Man Thunder Beam from an Australian shop, but if I can get it for a bit less from FP I'll just wait and take my chances. Looks like it'd be about $35 USD from Australia shipped.

After waking up at 30 minute intervals and missing out because of the bad link provided by Disney, I broke down and bought Indy off of ebay. The cost may come down in the future, but I don't want to risk it going up. This was my one big want from NYCC, so I don't mind paying a little extra for it.

I had 2 in my cart for myself and a friend. For some reason, though, I was having an issue getting the 20% off $75 purchase promo code to work. I finally got it to work, went to continue checking out, and on the next page was told that they had sold out. So close, yet so far away.

This is total bull. Set alarms all morning since midnight trying to get this clicking that link that disney shared and it never worked it led to a dead page that I assumed would go live at release ....wrong. Wow talk about wasting a whole night and a tiring day at wotk for nothing.

Very sorry you and others missed out! I thought about setting a page monitor to that page and sleeping with my laptop next to me, but decided this one was important enough to me to stay up and gut it out half the night. But it ended up being fun hanging out in Eye on the Web with fellow Funatics anyway. I highly recommend that anyone looking for a particular exclusive like that in the future camp out in the Eye on the Web forum because the second stuff like that goes live people post about it. That may have saved me because I mostly kept refreshing that darned Mike Wazowski page although I was also checking word searches on my phone app.

And honestly, after reading some of the responses from Popcultcha, I can see that they do not understand the concept of good customer service.

I've bought a lot of stuff from PC and their customer service is top notch, I would definitely call it "remarkable". What they are responding to are the ridiculous tirades and even death threats that people have posted to them on social media because their site always struggles when they go live with con exclusives. They do what they can to increase their bandwidth and stuff, but they always get slammed with traffic and when people don't get what they want they take to social media to rip PC a new one. I do not blame them at all for reminding people that they're shopping for toys, not trying to implement world peace or something

I was lucky enough to wake up in the middle of the night and stalk the disney page with you all... thanks to all and pick up an Indy. I looked at my emails this morning and don't see any email confirming the order.... should I be worried ???

Several of us have not gotten one. I do see my order on the Disney site though, and I checked my CC and the money has been drawn so I'm not worried.

This type of stuff bothers me SO much. We lost F-Boxes because people think it's OK to be a bully and threatening. I'd ban customers/emails addresses/IP addresses/whatever I could left and right if I had to deal with that. Why I am not in retail

Wow, that's crazy. I know how frustrating it can be when one group of people know the rules, but another group don't or the rules or line location change.

But only 1 employee to handle the head of the line. You couldn't pay me enough to do that job. I have seen attendees at SDCC verbally abuse workers. Not fun.

Unfortunately no one gets the Cereal Monsters Dorbz either so I'm kinda happy right now but wish I could either have the Cereal Monsters or Freddy as a final addition to my NYCC purchases.

Quick followup to this, I finally did get my email notification at 1:00 pm, around 10 hours after placing the order. Why some people got one in seconds and other people 10 hours is a mystery for the ages But if you didn't get one then keep an eye out, it may have just been delayed.

Congrats to everyone who got Indy! There's no way I would have been able to be awake. I'm still dead on my feet from staying awake until 12:30 AM last night. I'm so lame, right? As much as I don't want to say it, I think I've given up on obtaining anything Indiana Jones, and will admire his pictures online. There are others I want to get!
I know I'm kind of freaking out about my Hot Topic order since I paid via PayPal, but they still haven't taken the money yet. It's never been pending for more than 5 minutes. Haha.

That's actually what I do. But I end up being way busy or having lunch, then I'll go back and look an hour or two later and I missed some awesome Pops that sold out immediately. Or, most of this week I was actually on vacation and missed out on some of them because of that (I'm looking at you Walgreens exclusives).
