Also the drummer is local and at a Free Scott Pilgrim screening she showed up.

Also it would be a perfect place for another Kevin SMith/ViewAskew pop drop.

I'm wondering how much time Funko actually has to make something Toronto "themed"? With that being said, they offer the Freddy with the space needle at HQ, the CN tower is very similar, I wonder how much effort it would take to recreate that pop with some minor adjustments and maybe a leaf jersey on Freddy?

I am thinking they already had this planned but didn't announce it until now. I agree that the Freddy with space needle and the CN tower would be the easy solution as well as the social Freddy with a Tim Hortons cup!

The best of the films (Short Circuit 2) was filmed in Toronto. Maybe a super limited Golden Johnny 5 after he gets his Canadian US citizenship!

Maybe try and recreate a photo of selling Johnny 5s right outside the Eaton Centre!

I third this! I technically grew up a Pistons fan (Detroit son right here), but I also grew up right across the river from Windsor (during the dino boom of the mid-90s, mind you), so I definitely spent more of my adult life rooting for the Raptors than my Pistons-loving dad cared for lol

Also, I'm expecting more than one Scott Pilgrim Pop this time around. The location just screams for it. And that...both excites and terrifies me :eek:

When you think of the ultimate canadian pop, I just feel like putting all the stereotypes into one pop.... A mountie holding a timmies cup in one hand, a poutine in the other, wearing snowshoes, hockey stick strapped to his back, riding on a moose. There should be icicles formed on the brim of his mountie hat and a speech bubble saying "Sorry, eh?"
