They have a building near the convention. You have to wait in line overnight of course. If you actually just go to google maps and pull up the San Diego Convention center and then search nearby for Funko it will give you walking directions. It's really close. The issue is too much stuff not enough time. By going to the pop up shop, you're dedicating an overnight stay outside and missing half a day of the con. If it didn't require me to miss the con, i'd be more willing to keep it around. I'm not complaining about flippers...there's flippers in the con as well, it's just too much stuff I want to do and prioritizing is a PITA.

Sorry when I said that is the way they want it I meant SDCC not Funko. Funko has said several times they would like to do a lotto for the booth all days just like the other conventions but SDCC won't let them. I really need to get to the SDCC talk back panel and ask them why
