I like that they are only doing them with certain drops. Maybe mostly freddy/franny drops they do it? I was lucky enough to get a mythic pack it shot me right through and I've never clicked and typed so fast lol

I got into the queue pretty early but missed it. But still managed to get 4 premium packs. So I won't complain :freddy3: :mir1:

I feel they should have tested this our on a different drop. I think there were more packs bought for this drop to try to get lucky with the Fun for One than just the Mythic pack. It definitely would have sold out for the packs, but would it have been as in demand if it wasn't for the Fundays tickets? I have no idea...

Thought this was interesting about Mythic Packs... we are now just little over a month since the drop occurred and according to Pop In Stock the number for mythic are 102 left unopened... I am curious to see that number closer to redemption in September. I wonder if they will be opened or if there will be some Battle Mech's who do not get redeemed which will make the 499 pcs count even lower.

I think it's people just trying to sell the pack directly rather than opening it and selling the NFT by itself. I think Funko will always produce the advertised pieces count, but not all of them will be released into the wild if people forget to redeem to the tokens.

I think there's a crowd that loves the oversized pops (I have one of the 18" Harry Potters) and there's a crowd that just plain doesn't have space for that stuff. The Star Wars drop suffered not only because the character choices were boring, but they chose to do oversized pieces. If there's another Star Wars set or Mythic pack that has unique characters and the traditional 3.75" pop size I guarantee it will be a smash.

I think the only way to keep the price where it is, they have to be a 10" plus pop. I can't see them charging the $130 for a 4" pop, but that is me.

I can see that happening. Not sure what the lower cost would be. A normal premium pack is $30 so they’re essentially charging $100 for the 10” or $10 per inch. Maybe it would be $70-$75 for a normal 4ish incher? That’s my creative math but who knows lol

I would do the math a little different, since the Mythic pack is 29 regular NFTs and 1 mythic nft. And a premium is 17 nfts. It would have to be a really great 4" mold even at 499 pieces for me to spend that much on it.

It better be a dang good mold and pop to spend that much extra on a 4".

I'm still debating whether to buy just the Mythic Freddy, but I am worried it might get damaged upon receipt, and Droppp isn't the best with replacements without going through a gauntlet.

This is true for all NFTs. The full amount is produced and those that are not redeemed are destroyed. I am just curious is there will be unredeemed Mythic Freddy's.

I am super nervous for this - I still have an unopened Mythic Pack (no I'm not selling for anyone wanting to PM me lol) I am worried about how they are going to handle shipping with these guys. I have been lucky with all of my NFT pops, but I'm sure at some point that luck has gotta run out (I hope not)

This would be the best method or at least in a protector and then inside a closed sorter. Something to ensure that even if the shipping box is damaged, it is still protected.

That is very true. There are collectors of everything in the NFT space. I just think of a poor battle mech Freddy who will be left on the battle field.

I am sure Funko will find some way to release him on the battlefield! He's just too awesome to be kept in the base. If there are some unredeemed Battle mech for whatever reason, I think they might release him via the Droppp arcade system perhaps?

I do not think they will do that… if seen the team over in discord say that the integrity of the project is super important, so I could see them keeping the two separate…but who know what the arcade will be.

Yah we'll see how the arcade will work, but that would be my guess if they had a surplus of unredeemed pops as way to find a home for them while giving people the chance to use their post-redeemed NFT inventory, otherwise I don't know what else the arcade would offer (maybe packs) :-k

That makes sense and I could totally see them charging the same amount for the "Mythic pack" name regardless the size of the pop. Let's be honest we would all still try and buy it lol.

Oh absolutely, especially if it was a great drop/pop!
I am just a simple slinger of those warm wonderful dogs! Let's ketchup and relish in the pop world together!
