going to have to see the sculpts this could be very good or go very wrong. This is one anime where the chibi forms arent bad so I think there is a lot of potential. To bad pops are such static designs most of the monsters lend to more dynamic poses

Whoa. This could be a huge line! I used to watch the show when I was younger, so there are only a few characters/monsters I'd be bothered with buying a figure of. If there are pops, I'll most certainly get Yu-Gi. Maybe a Blue Eyes

I was very excited when this line was announced! I'm really hoping that eventually we will get toon town variants! ToonTown Dark Magician Girl, Blue Eyes, the creepy Bunny guy. Hahaha they would be very much Funko Style and Super Cute on top of that!!

This is definitely one line that needs to have several 6 inch Pop!s -- especially when it comes to the Blue-Eyes White Dragon. The proportions would be very hard to stylize into an average sized Pop!, all things considered. It's doable, but a 6 inch Blue-Eyes White Dragon would be amazing!

I also need Red-Eyes, Jinzo, the Egyptian God cards, Yugi, Yami, Joey, Kaiba... I could go on and on. lol

I just watched The Dark Side of Dimensions the other day, and it was pretty awesome -- having re-watched the entire original series in 2013, it was pretty great seeing a follow up to the events that transpired in the series finale.

It also made me a lot more interested in Pop!s of the main characters -- I wasn't opposed to the idea in the first place mind you, but a Pop! of Atem, for example, would be awesome (either as "Yami Yugi" or his Pharaoh design from the last season).

I am loving all the licensing that Funko has acquired. I am impressed. I watched Yu Gi Oh when I was young and played some, but I am going to have to resist and apply some self control.
