Re: Are PSH overtaking Mystery Minis?
i prefer the PSH in place of the marvel (or any other bobble head mystery minis)...never felt they fully translated properly as mini bobble heads. But I love the other non-bobble mystery minis, especially the horror and sci-fi. would be hard to do some of the characters, like godzilla, as a psh. each have their place to shine

Re: Are PSH overtaking Mystery Minis?
I agree i like the marvel PSH over the mystery minis, i think PSH are generally more appealing across different themes.

I like how they're very affordable compared to Mystery Minis and that you have more control over what you get. I love Mystery Minis but I have a ton of extras

Don't like the look of PSH. Hope they continue and do more MM. *shrug*

Re: Are PSH overtaking Mystery Minis?
I definitely prefer psh over mm. Easier to display, smaller and a better price point. Mms are great and if its a character I want I will try to find that, but I wont got out of my way to finish a set.
Do you guys believe Kylo Ren when he says he will finish what Darth Vader started?

Re: Are PSH overtaking Mystery Minis?
Since I wait to buy my mystery minis when people put up lots on eBay, I don't encounter the problem of extras. PSH also look to me just like mini Dorbz so I must say I greatly prefer the style of Mystery Minis to a small Dorbz. I already have Dorbz, don't need a smaller version.

Re: Are PSH overtaking Mystery Minis?
I think both lines are doing fantastic. But there's an aesthetic to the PSH being round and bobbly, and also the price point since they can be had for $3 and under (with coupons/sales).

These newer mm are looking very good, especially the spiderman stuff. They're definitely stepping it up

I was wondering the same thing since it's been a while since a new Disney MM set, but there are more MM coming. I do enjoy the change of pace.

I now think they could compliment each other. I know for something I like I buy all the available lines. I just saw a picture of some Justice Leage MMs and if they made those but PSH I would definitely get both.

I honestly like the psh more. They are way smaller and a lot better looking than minis.

Re: Are PSH overtaking Mystery Minis?
I prefer minis overall. They look better and overall have better quality. I like PSHs just fine but I don't go after them as hard as minis. I don't think PSHs will overtake minis or anything. They'll make both and we'll all buy both

I prefer minis to PSH and Pops to minis, heh. It is nice to be able to feel out some of the PSH though. Only had to buy two to get the two I wanted from the SciFi series.
Or did you think I'd be too stupid to know what a eugoogoly was?

Re: Are PSH overtaking Mystery Minis?
I like them both. I also like having a mix of Funko products within my collection. Like with my GOT collection I only wanted the 6in dragons, Mag, & the Iron Throne Pop wise and the rest of my GOT is all the GOT Dorbz. I feel like the different product lines give my collection depth and look awesome displayed together. I think PSH just adds another layer to that. I'm also excited about the Vynl. line after getting the SDCC set and seeing they are the size of Pops.
My Collection:
Pops!: 1024
Mystery Minis: 240
Dorbz: 393
Wacky Wobblers: 23
Rock Candy: 2
Pint Size Heroes: 47
Vinyl: 37
Plush: 3
Hikari: 10
Top 3 ISO: Elvira (Red Dress Funkoween), Retro Freddy (Walking Dead), Freddy Skeletor Wobbler

I like them both, but I feel a lot of mystery minis lately havent been spectacular. Im not a fan of the arms out generic uniform pose that a lot of sets have now. I like the stylized ones like fallout, sci fi, horror, etc...PSH are also cheaper which is a bonus for people id assume

I thoroughly enjoy both lines. Some properties I prefer in MM form; such as, Horror, Sci-fi, and Arkham Series. In PSH form I love the Marvel lines, because no bobble.

Re: Are PSH overtaking Mystery Minis?
I like them both, and think MM are going to have a resurgence thanks to the cases being seemingly all mixed up on purpose now vs being the same layout every time.
I used to love buying a MM here and there before I knew what went on with scales and layouts. I will happily go back to buying them that way if what appears to have happened with Justice League and Trollhunters isn't a fluke.

Re: Are PSH overtaking Mystery Minis?
A couple months back I was 100% team MM for life, but the street fighter PSH have started me down the path to the dark side. The detail on the PSH for their size is crazy. I now have completed Street FIghter and Sci-fi PSH sets, most of the Spider-man, and a few WWE including Ric Flair and Stone Cold.
On the other hand, mystery minis have been awesome lately. Star Wars has hit a level of quality I didn't think they would ever do for bobble-heads. As indifferent as I am towards the Justice League characters, I must admit that aesthetically it is one of the best MM sets I've seen.
I guess you can be a junkie for both. I think PSH and MM are both better than Pops (Rock Candy too, even though I don't collect them).

Re: Are PSH overtaking Mystery Minis?
I think it depends on preference. I prefer PSH over MM only because I feel they're cuter! However, some MMS are cute too! Also, PSH are cheaper and less bulky in a pocket compared to MMs. So as long as Funko is making them, I think they'll both be around for awhile.

I'm surprised they didn't announce any new PSH lines at Fundays. They showed off several Minis lines, so I don't think they are going away any time soon!

I would say yes only because PSH are so cute!!!! Plus you can feel the bag to have an idea of what figure you get. Kind of like the LEGO mystery minifigure series??
I prefer to feel the bag and know who i want from the collection and get them, rather than spend the money on 3 boxes and get none of the ones i wanted and have to trade/sell them.

What's up! I'm Stephan

Re: Are PSH overtaking Mystery Minis?
I am actually loving the Pint Size Heroes much more than the MMs. Mostly because PSH are smaller and I can display more in a smaller space. My collection of PSH fits nicely on my desk at work and I've expanded outside of Disney because of the consistency of the size between the figures. I like consistency/symmetry/uniformity. I'm already looking forward to PSH Disney Series 2 and hopefully 3!
