I also don't really think it'll be Jasmine. Like a lot of others said, Brian's been announcing characters from the same film together. This leaves me thinking that it'll be Tiana, Rapunzel, or Merida for the princess pick since Mulan and Pocahontas just aren't as popular (personally I'd rather have Mulan or Pocahontas because I love them and they lack merch).

Since Brian hasn't announced any today, maybe tomorrow's will be linked! Mother Gothel and Rapunzel or Dr. Facilier and Tiana would be awesome!

I'm pretty sure the next Princess will be Aurora. Wasn't she originally going to be the princess of series four but they changed it to Cinderella?

I would really love for it to be Aurora, but in popularity she seems to have sunk behind Tiana and Rapunzel recently. Aurora is my personal favorite princess!

I love them too. I just hope that even if we don't get Aurora in this series that we will in a future series. At this point I'm hoping that Jasmine will be in this series since Genie is, but who knows what will happen (except Brian of course ;-)

). I also hope we will get Pocahontas as well. I realize that Tiana and Rapunzel are currently more popular since those movies are newer, but I really prefer the movies from the Disney Renaissance. After that time period ended the movies that came after just weren't of the same quality of those that preceded them.

So far the only Princess I have are Belle and Ariel. The only other ones I will get are Aurora & Tiana. Jasmine I never been a fan of hers that much. If they do Mulan and Pocahontas I will get them send like some on here have said you really don't see that much stuff with these two.

All of the other series have 3-5 girls in them, and they just HAVE to have a princess so I know we're going to get a few. I was just imagining if we got one of the "forgotten" princesses like Eilonwy or Kida. A GITD Kida would be freaking sick as a SDCC exclusive though!

That kinda brings into question what Disney Pop's would you never expect? Rocketeer was actually something I thought I'd never see. I bet we'll never see any Pop's from The Black Cauldron, Treasure Planet, or Home on the Range either. I would love to see Quasimodo, Merlin, Yzma, and Gaston as Pop's as well, but given how many other more popular/used characters there are I doubt we'll see them.

I just don't get all the love for Aurora. My favorite princesses are strong, smart, and resourceful; like Mulan, Belle, and Tiana.

I think for me loving Aurora she was the very first Princess that I ever met at Disneyland when I first started to go there back in 2002.

This was the very first photo I ever took with a Princess.

And I just love the moive so much. I watch that movie more then any Disney movie that I own.

This is one of the ones I want most of all. I put that in my wish list in the Disney thread a while back. I just think she would look so amazing. It would definitely be one of the coolest Pop!s ever made.

Yzma, has never gotten the credit she deserves as an awesome character. She's one of my favorite villains because she's hilarious! I also really love Kronk, so I would like to see them both as Pop but I doubt it'll actually ever happen.

@Capt Hook - AHHH! Aurora is NEVER in the blue dress! That's an awesome photo! I have a friend who "hangs out" with Aurora, Ariel, Mary Poppins, Princess Leia, and Vidia at Walt Disney World. It's fun to talk to her about what people say to her throughout the day!

Well sends I've been going to Disneyland send 2002 I have made friends with some of the characters there. Some are still there but others have move on to other things. As of right now I have a Ariel that is a friend to me infact just the last time I saw her she call me her buddy. I had 4 Tinkerbell's as a friend but one of them is no longer there. I had 5 Aurora's I knew same with Belle. 1 Snow White in fact she was the very first Princess that remember from all the time I've been going we became friends from 2006 to 2009. There is a Tiana that I know infact we both do silly poses together when we take pictures together like these.

Most likely pink... which I hate because she spends most of the time in the film in blue. Even though that's while she's asleep. She really doesn't do that much in the movie. If she was in her pauper dress (or whatever you want to call it) I'd be happy too!

I know. I hate it too. She looks so beautiful in the blue dress especially when she awakens and opens her blue eyes. Her other dress is usually referred to as her peasant dress.

ah yes, I knew it was a "p" word but I couldn't think of it.

People always call me out on why she's my favorite by saying she doesn't do anything. I think I like her because we never learn too much about her. Aside from being a dreamer, she's not really given a lot of development and the film isn't really about her. The film seems a lot more about how her existence and the curse against her has effected everyone else in the kingdom. The 3 Good Fairies are the true stars of the film, since they are the ones who really make everything good happen. From solving the problem of where to hide Aurora to providing Philip with the tools he needed to defeat Maleficent, they are the real heroes.

Yep, that's Sleeping Beauty's name in the Brothers Grimm tale. Disney honored that by having the Fairies name her that to further disguise her while she was staying with them in the woods. That way no one would know she was Aurora by name.

Not that I know of in Disney when the 3 good fairies hides Aurora they change her name to Briar Rose. But to everyone else she is Princess Aurora.

That's what I thought! I've got a Brothers Grimm book around the house somewhere. It would honestly make sense for them to put Aurora in her blue dress, seeing as they have Belle in her yellow dress and Cinderella in her blue dress. As they're seen as princesses not peasants.

If we want to get technical though... Cinderella should never be in a blue dress either. Her dress is more of a crystal/white color than it is ever blue. Disney merchandising puts her in blue to make her stand out better, and so that people don't think she's in a wedding dress all the time.

That's why Aurora is always in the pink, and why ariel is very rarely seen in her pink human dress in merchandise.

Thx. From the time I'm seeing I don't think we will get number 8 tonight. So people look for a double header tomorrow sometime. Back with Aurora would it be cool if they made both Blue and the Pink dress. Have one of them be a chase figure. As with her Briar Rose form she look a little different then as her Aurora look.

It's been mentioned before in another thread, but I think the best way to do it would be to have her made regularly in her pink dress then offer a blue dress variant as a SDCC '13 exclusive!

Again Brian is a busy man and he will post them when he is ready to post them. He is doing this as a favor to us, if he wanted to he could just make us wait until the actual release, so be patient and relax.

I don't know about everyone else but your impatience on this comes across as disrespectful in my oppion.
