10 inch Porg!!

Went to my local target this morning at open that showed in stock on brickseek around midnight last night. Three different employees couldn't find them in the back, and said they can't sell them until April 15th anyway when they're redoing their display. One other guy was there, and he ripped into them for about 15 minutes. That was entertaining to watch.

A little tough to see all of the hauls on here and Instagram, but patience will win out as always.

I think they are vendors at local conventions. It's sad, but I think I'll get a Porg eventually somehow.

I know, but the popularity of the pops is what drives all the flippers to hunt them down. These are the same bunch of people who were buying out all the happy meals to get the Beanie babies.

I was very surprised how painless it was for me to get the Porg-y goodness. Saw that a semi-local store had them in stock, so I called to confirm. The guy confirmed and even offered to hold one for me, so that was pretty cool of him. Especially for a Target employee.

Anyone having issues with stock showing in brick seek, but the store not having them? Clerk looked them up and it said arriving on Monday. He didn't seem at all shady so I believe him, but brick seek is showing in stock. I did find it weird that stock spiked to 48% from like 3% yesterday. Maybe a glitch?

I think something has to be scanned in for a spike that big, but I’ve also heard that sometimes increased inventory counts those in transit.

Hmmm, interesting. Never had that issue before so thought they'd have to be scanned actually at the store for it to show up as in stock.

Third store, the employee checked his scanner, and actually showed me they had zero on hand but some were on the way due on the next truck.

All three showed in stock on Brickseek. So I think in this case, once it's left the warehouse, it's part of the store stock, even if it's not there yet.

I went back to the first store this evening, and two really helpful employees got me one from the back. They wouldn't put the stock on the floor; said it was due to set on the fifteenth. But they sold me and one other customer one each.

Congrats!! I went to another store tonight and had one in my hand to purchase but wasn't allowed to. Long story as to why, but I didn't want to make a scene because the employee was actually being pretty helpful.

Oh gosh. I would LOVE a flocked version. This one is already my favorite Funko piece ever. Hoping more stock comes rolling in, as I really want a second one now too.

Sometimes even when someone gets 6 it's really for friends and family. I know so many people who buy multiples but they're at cost or below because they're the one person who can find the stuff. Have faith they're going to a good home!

Some times brickseek is wrong, or not up to date in real time. Also it might show in stock but it might not be off the pallet. Apparently it does not have a home in the mod until the 15th I think they said so it wouldn't be on the floor.

Day 2 of Jumbo Porg hunting season resulted in nabbing a big ripe one. Glad Brickseek was accurate and the employees had them out on display at store opening. Very happy to add this whopper to the collection.

Agreed, I use to work in retail so I understand. I'll still be there to hopefully get them if not I'll bid my time

I thought that too, but honestly it’s always a grain of salt with these things. You can never know if someone is just telling you something to get you to walk away

I always go straight to electronics when looking for stuff. The employees stationed there always seem to know the most about what is going on. The guy yesterday brought out 2 for me and my friend and also brought out the IW minis which was a nice bonus!
