I guess I'll be the sourpuss here...

Will AoU become the new TWD? I'm a big Marvel fan but enough already with the Avengers variants. I was more than happy to buy 3 Hulks, but I like Hulk. I have phasing Vision but not the regular. I had thought about buying Grinning Ultron when he started showing up at Walmart but I really don't like that face....I think I'll just buy the common. I'm all for giving the people what they want, and obviously from the reaction in this thread, this is something people want, but I'm just gonna stick with one variant from here on out I believe.

That's like me too. I hate having doubles. Don't make sense in my displays. I just ordered a Target phasing Vision otherwise I would have waited for this. I'd be more upset than the timing of this release than the quantity of them. I think they should have released it closer to Civil War release.

I think this should look cool, I will get him, I currently have Phasing vision in my collection, but I might switch him out with this guy.

My thoughts on "too many variants" I think all of the AoU variants have to some extent been available for regular pop price, makes it easier for people to either collect them all, double dip, or just collect regs.

I don't need three Visions, but I want him. I'll give him to my mom since she saw AOU and said he was her favorite and that she thought he was pretty. Then I will technically still have him because of our unspoken agreement that any Pop!s I give her are really mine that she's just housing for me haha.

Hm, well it's not really a double as it looks noticeably different standing mext to the other. I can understand calling it a double if it were a glow variant.

A Civil War release wouldnt make much sense though as that will have its own line, possibly with a new mold Vision.

Called FYE, they said they get their shipments on Wednesdays. So If anyone is calling/checking, I would do so Wednesday night or Thursday morning. I wish FUNKO told us release dates.

No offense, but it's really annoying when customizers post things like "just paint one yourself". I think the extremely high majority of us don't consider customs to be the same thing as official releases, let alone have the knowledge, supplies, time, or skills needed to make a decent looking custom if we wanted to.

Yeah I wish I had the talent to do repaints and customs. It's a great time to be good at art with the internet and all.

Couldn't agree more. I look at some of the work of custom POPs and think to myself, wow that looks great...hope a production version eventually becomes available. I don't have the skill sets or materials to make them myself, but I have no interest in customs. I'm glad that folks enjoy making and purchasing customs, but it isn't the same by a long shot for many of us. =D>
