Re: TMNT pop
i'm an 80's baby, had every single TMNT toy from their figure line back in the 80's/90's, so i would obviously love if they were the old retro looking ones, but I wouldn't mind if they were the new nickelodeon ones. I was browsing channels the other day and came across an episode on, and i really didnt mind it. Its like when they remake of a movie, noone is ever going to say the remake was better than the original.

As long as their names and colors are all still the same.. I'm not sure there is any other way to differentiate the turtles from the 80's/90's and now in Pop form.

Re: TMNT pop
Now everyone is debating what if the turtles will have the 80's cartoon or the new nickelodeon look, but remember the turtles have a few more different styles they could choose from...first off and less likely there is the 2003 series that aired between the original and the new nickelodeon show and second the orginal style of turtles the comic series that started it all....

As a product of the 80s, I would prefer the retro style. With that said, I am open to all versions.

I really hope they go the 80's cartoon route. I absolutely loved that show as a kid, so I'd be ecstatic to have turtle Pops in that style.

Check this 15" Donatello I still have from when I was a kid!! He spent YEARS outside at my grandparents so I'm surprised he's only a bit faded. He was made by Playmate's in 1989. DEF one of my favorite toys growing up(and now!) LOL

I had those same Invites when I was a Kid! LoL I can remember I had atleast two Birthdays that were Turtle Themed.
I would hope they are the 80's version, but if they are the newer Turtles, maybe they will be PoP-I-fied enough to were they can pass for the 80's ones! And whats good with Krang? I think he'd look awesome in PoP form!

I have a box full of TMNT stuff from when my Son was a little guy. I bought EVERYTHING TMNT for him that I could afford, clothes, shoes, toys, sheets, blankets, curtains, action figures......he trashed almost everything, but I saved some stuff that I bought for him, but never gave to him because he had so much stuff. I should go through the box

Re: TMNT pop
Classic is ok, but the designs are kinda same-ish. Other than the headbands you can't really tell them apart.
I preferred the 2003 version (which followed the comics more and had a better story, nostalgia aside)

Plus each turtle had it's own colour scheme.

2012 version would work too, but the only things that would be different to me would be Mikey's freckles, Don's tooth gap and Raph's beat up shell. And I suppose it would be overall a bit more boxy looking.
Maybe they'll do like Turtle's forever and have all the different version, even the black and white classic comic versions.
