They had this funky system using Fooji where they delivered pops to you as well. It was not implemented well though. I wish they would go back to the 2016 method. The line was very efficient after the doors opened.

Agreed that 2016 was perfect. I was able to score all 4 Conan Pops so I may be biased though

2016 you needed a badge but last year you didn’t, I believe. And the wait time can vary as NoOtherOptions has pointed out. Yet give it a shot—don’t shy away from it because of it.

There was no draw at MGH last year. They just handed em out at the show and then at certain locations towards the end of the weekend. I believe they handed out Jedi Conans on the pier if I remember correctly.

I agree. I loved the 2016 model. It was less stress and didn't have to give up much because by the time 10 arrived, they would be gone. It was like first 30 minutes of the day, and then can forget about conan.

I've still tried to get tickets on 1iota, but haven't gotten lucky the past couple years. No matter what you are sacrificing something by lining up in the morning, its just the time commitment for Conan gets you in and out faster so that you can get on with the rest of your day. I definitely appreciate that given everything else going on.

Yeah I haven't had any iota luck. My wife and I both have tried the last three years with no luck. Yeah with the hotel way, you just aren't giving up as much for the conan pop. With last year's system, you almost had to give up the con because to get from the con to any location where they were handing them out was too long.

Would be cool if we got a Thanos Conan. I originally suggested it on the first page, l think the 4th post down. If it becomes a reality, I'd be pretty stoke and would then have to play the lotto

Yes that was one mismanaged line for sure. Way too many photo opportunities once inside, but getting there early was the key. If you were on the east side of the building, the line was relatively ok, and the sun wasn't much of an issue.

We were on the side of the building that was west opposite side of petco park. We got there around sevenish. It wasn't too bad until the attraction temporarily was broken. I also met some awesome people that also helped my wife get me a ticket to get in. They went around and handed out tickets as I was in bathroom, and everyone in the area was helping my wife so they would give me my ticket. The people running it were worried she was just holding the spot for me, and I wasn't there since the morning with her. Just like this board, there are some awesome people at comic con that make waits more fun.

see I'd prefer no 10 inchers. Personally and only because it messes up my collection . I try to avoid rides; 6 inchers; etc. Makes organizing a nightmare!
