Are there any plans for...
NFL Pops? I'm sure this has been addressed somewhere at some point, but I was just curious if anyone knows anything for sure....or if the demand is even there. I wouldn't say it would be a series I'd complete, but would love to get favorite team(s). Since they have the NBA ones, I was just curious if they're going to continue with sports.

I was thinking along the same lines as I was watching the Liverpool Football Club playing today that it would be awesome if there were other sports POP!s. I wonder how well the NBA line has went.

I'm sure it would be a licensing nightmare, because with the NFL if you want to use their logos, you need to get permission/license from them directly, but if you want to use the players names/likenesses, you need to go through the NFLPA. Idk how different the NBA is. For anyone who is an 80's video game baby, if you remember, a lot of the football games either had the players names or their team name/logos, none had both, until like the 2nd or 3rd madden where they had all the licenses in one game.

Ehhh, I wasn't impressed with the NBA pops, bunch of the same bodies, a very few different heads, and just paint jobs. No one really knew which protos they had... I dont see NFL pops being much different. I really dont know how well the NBA pops sold though...

Oh mascots are exciting! That's probably a better idea than players anyway....players get traded all the time, but the mascot will be relevant forever. Maybe if they're doing it for MLB, it'll span across all sports eventually.

That's probably true....I don't know if they'd be able to sell for as cheap as a normal pop (and if they're more expensive, they won't sell.) It seems any NFL gear is like 3x the price of what it should be haha. But like you said, that may be the same case for NBA I have no idea either....I tend to watch College Basketball, but not so much pro.

Mascots would be more fun than players. Outside of a small handful of stars, most NFL rosters are pretty plug and play. I'd hate to lose a whole shelf of Pop to torn ACL's.
It's hard enough watching some folks dumping the stars of their collections because of 'salary cap' issues.

I remember when we didn't need names on college players jerseys! How old does that make me??
