some companies never put edition sizes on their stickers...presumably to limit people buying ONLY the super limited exclusives...if you dont know you have to buy them all!

I agree...if this one does have a small edition size, it may force us to buy all the exlusives before they sell out. Buy now think later LOL

They did. I know sally had an edition size of like 250. I think jack had 500. Maybe it's wishful thinking but, I doubt Funko only made 96 of these unless they have other colorways yet to be announced.

HYPE!!! Gemini still has all of the left overs from this years sdcc. Black suit superman was selling for 40 to 50 bucks and now cant get rid of it at $16.99. There are a ton of 480 edition pieces that cant even be sold. Personally I think it is bogus that they sell a suposedly limited edition piece and wont tell you what it is limited to.

I cant see them limiting a con exclusive to 96 this isnt a Freddy... they want everyone to make money right? Its a Batman, everyone knows the crazy demand for Batman pieces. Im trying to not panic myself.

It is bogus...and most of these are probably pieces that you will be able to track down in the future quite easily...but the not knowing makes people spend their money right away, even if they dont have it, to avoid having to pay gold loki or sdcc batman prices in the future....its smart on their part but overall bad for collectors who have tight pockets...edition sizes being listed takes the guess work away from can I wait on this and save for it or do I need to get it now before its gone...

If it was only a 96 limit, how is it so inexpensive? There most be more. They said there would some posted online after the con, so that means there has to be more than just 96. What is the next lowest run they usually have? 240? If it was 240 I would think they would have more to offer during the convention. Hmmm.

Maybe there was no run limit given out so that we could all spend time away from our family and jobs and sit on this message board discussing it instead.

well...they got short shipped at the NYCC according to people who are in attendance so that explains why they are limited there...no telling the edition size unless they spill the beans

So then I'm lead to believe it's more of a 480 size since they were short and if they were trying to keep opportunities even between convention goers and those who couldn't attend. I now have a bit more hope.

I think toy Tokyo is one if the vendors who is able to get smaller runs of funko exclusives. I thought this was limited to 200.

And, yes, last year they were also short shipped. Having worked at conventions for years, it happens. I am happy they limited to some per day and 1 per person vs last year when they sold them all on Friday and the limit was 2. They ran out much faster. At least this say there is a chance for everyone. In theory. Sadly, I think some people have decided to sell rather than collect.

Hoping the remaining stock hits toy tokyo's site soon.

You are correct Lara, we are lucky that TT didn't get their entire shipment. We all have a much better chance of getting one when they hit their site. Just have to be vigilant in checking their site for it.

Not sure who posted or where you got your information (who @ TT tweeted whatever), but it is not entirely correct.

I spoke to Lev himself several times on this issue, everyday for the last 4 days as a matter of fact.
They do not expect to see anymore of these until the middle of November earliest. They may do a extremely small pre-sale once they figure out how many they will have left after the list of people Lev has to be taken care of. Do not expect them at the NYCC price.

If there are any pre-order sales it will be to a minimum as like I have said there is a list of people to get these that Lev has to satisfy first. Lev is doing everything he can to help the people out that want this item. Also to be fair he will be trying to take care of the people that went all the way into the Con to get them first. Some people spent a lot of money just to get to NYCC to get these, they deserve to get the first shot at these and he knows that.

It isn't Toy Tokyo and Lev's fault that these were short shipped, and he is doing everything to get these into the hands of the people that deserve to get them. After that people will have to be very lucky to get a chance at one of them.

I'm not trying to knock anyone trying to help out give information, but maybe it's smart to listen to someone you know that talks to who actually has the information. Even people that work at the store can get the wrong information to pass along. I go to the source. I'm sure Lev is sick of me harassing him on these also, so what he is telling me are the facts.

Lev is doing everything he can to get these to people. Yes they are on the boards I'm sure, and they are on all the social media outlets. It doesn't help to bash someone or a company for something that is not there own doing.

When I find out actual facts I will post them to all, but it doesn't hurt to stalk the Toy Tokyo site.

I think Ron's saying dont believe everything you read. I emailed them and got a response from them directly saying there would be a pre sale, an hour later dukie called and they said no. So hearing anything from twitter/ facebook/ or any word of mouth is all up in the air.

yes they are legit. I ordered the GITD jack & sally from them last year. They arrived in mint condition and within reasonable time.
