I guess I'm odd, I watch films often because of who directed it. I have horrible luck at getting the directors first hand but I would like to have a complete collection of them some day, maybe. Assuming I get good stuff to trade.

Also, at least in the circles I run in, Taika has become somewhat of a celebrity post Ragnorak - his style and his personality are very endearing.

That's all for Star Wars (they said so during the Twitter Q&A). As for movies it is possible a single movie will get a wave, but I'd say unlikely. The Funkast said around 70 exclusives so they are almost halfway done.

Im quite surprised they limited SW to such a small run, but I'm not a SW fan so doesn't bother me.

They really can't win either way. If they do too many of one thing, people will say they need different lines. They limit lines that have a lot of representation already, and people say hold up-we want more of it

Taika also had a bit of a cult following after What We Do in the Shadows was released, which is what led to him getting Thor: Ragnarok in the first place.

So far there is nothing I want. Kinda disappointed the anime wave didn't have any My Hero Academia or One Piece Pops!, that dead Yamcha is hilarious though.

I would be interested in Matthew Patel, but the Scott Pilgrim line has been pretty impossible to collect in Australia, so I've stuck to just owning Scott and Ramona and pretend the rest don't exist.

Kraglin is okay, but it doesn't look like him enough imo, maybe if they ditched the fin and gave him spiky hair instead?.
I don't collect the director Pops!, but I'm pretty glad Taika is getting a Pop!, I've been a big fan of his films well before he got big overseas. I want Pops! for all of his films XD.

It definitely is. You won't be disappointed if it's the rumor going around. Wasn't my pic so I can't share on here. Should be announced this week or next though anyways.

I know!! They announced the preview night lotto i think back in May last year. I am hoping they will do it again for some of us forum members. I am also hoping its an online lotto for the rest of the days just like the other cons.
