How much was the Hot Toys Hulkbuster if you don't mind me asking.

That Hulkbuster retailed on the sideshow website for a little over $800+ taxes and shipping.

Oh my god. Sweet Jesus! I cannot afford to pay $800 for the Sideshow piece. It is spectacular.

Wow. I'm not sure afford is the right word - I don't think I could bring myself to pay it even if I could afford it

It is ONE HUNDRED PERCENT worth it. I have seen people pay $800 for a poorly painted Freddy Frankenberry that just sits there...this is 3 feet tall, weighs a ton and is so articulated that my mind was blown.

Proxima Midnight, Corvus Glaive, Ebon Maw, Black Dwarf...the whole Black Order...ALL DAY LONG. My last giant collection sale from a few years ago was the Cull Obsidian, I need these to push my next big sell off lol

I haven't seen any confirmation of a Black Dwarf/Cull Obsidian (they renamed him) POP, so it makes me worried that he'll die off relatively early or not play an important part in the movie. I would still over POP of him though. Maybe it'll be an exclusive somewhere.

Oh they named him Cull Obsidian for the movie? Weird. I mean it is by far a cooler name, even though it is an event, like calling my self "Superbowl Sunday" either way...hope he plays a bigger part than that :(

That Superbowl Sunday joke is pretty funny!

I think that if you understand what a Black Dwarf is, than the neame is pretty powerful, but if you don't, it's confusing because why would the tallest character be a dwarf?

From what i hear, you can no longer buy it for retail now it's sold out and selling on the secondary market for about $1000 and above. But the figure was delayed for about two years from the set production date. So needless to say it has been a long time coming. I will get one, one day. But for now i am more focused on acquiring hard to find Funko pieces that i do not wanna miss out on lol

I have to second what Maldigola is saying. Although the price is high, it is definitely well worth the money in comparison to what a lot of people spend on Funko grails. The Hulkbuster is so heavy you can't put it in a stock detolf case, because it exceeds the maximum load weight. Also it comes fully articulated with leds for every light source on the figure.

The most I paid for a Sideshow piece was a Grey Hulk smashing into a rock that was LE 500. I paid $350 for it and I thought that was a decent price for a 2 foot statue.

Yeah, definitely another reason why don't avidly collect them. I can't really display 1/6 scale figures and collect funko at the same time.

My goal is to have all 3 of The Hulk Sideshow pieces. Grey , Green, Red.

The next problem would be how to display them.

Agreed. I like the MCC Hulkbuster but I still feel that the new mold coming out in the infinity wars line has a better design but also at the same time it loses the Funko Pop like feel and is more along the lines of a Metal Cast toy.

Agreed on all fronts! I think Funko has come a long way period! And they just keep getting better! (Though the pain they give my wallet & budget just keeps getting worse. I wonder if there's a correlation between the two?)

I love the MCC Hulkbuster, but I missed it - joined too late! So this'll have to tide me over until I find one I'm willing to buy!

The first one is great. This one looks to be even better. I think funko has come a long way with their bigger molds.

Agreed on all fronts! I think Funko has come a long way period! And they just keep getting better! (Though the pain they give my wallet & budget just keeps getting worse. I wonder if there's a correlation between the two?)

My wallet is gonna be really hurting when all of the infinity war pieces come. I wonder if they will release them in waves.

Man, Funko really knows how to drive demand through exclusives. I agree - would be amazing but also very sad if I didn't end up with one!

I do so hope this happens and that you get one

People have been finding some of them at Box Lunches already. Not sure the rules on posting pictures as they have not been announced but have been found on the shelves.
