This will give you a good idea of what people are paying more for. Steve is definitely the harder to find of the lot, but several exclusives are shooting up in price too.

Some of those prices make no sense to me. Some of the commons from wave 1 that aren't even vaulted are $25-30...? I guess just a function of the source material.

I think it's a combination of Season 2 creating an influx in collectors and international buyers.

Yeah, makes sense. If that is the case, it's interesting because I thought season 2 was a huge step down . If season 2 was season 1, I'm not sure I would have given the show a second thought. I mean, season 2 was good, but it was a major letdown after season 1 IMHO.

I was able to pick up all the 8-bit target ones other than the demigorgon pretty easy. Though I know that a lot of people aren’t big on them.

I blame Eleven's sideplot for that. Even with the Hopper stuff, I think that she should've gotten involved with the main story way earlier.

I'm the opposite as I enjoyed season 2 more. It felt more like an original story (even with the flaws) than the first season which went too heavy with homages for me.
I probably won't get a lot of Stranger things pops but I'm really looking forward to what's coming out next.

I liked the second season a lot except for 1 episode. Think the first season was a sold A and the second was a B+

I’m with you. Season 1 was perfect for me. Season 2 wasn’t bad, but just fell short for me. Still love the property and looking forward to season 3 though.

yeah I think all of the commons are slated to drop again in january, check your local stores and such then. I paid $12.50 per a week ago for wave 1 commons, should've waited it out. I have all of the exclusives though, I will keep my eyes out for you!

Check stores like Target, Walmart and Gamestop for them. Also if you have hot cash or box lunch money you can pick some up for cheap

PPG is an average of eBay sales over a period of time. I believe it also weighs recent sales higher. So, if I sold an autographed common for $75 that could skew the average.

Re: Vaulted stranger things
People always seem to forget that there were no Stranger Things products until 2017, meaning that none of them should be vaulted (yes, I do know that there are some quickly vaulted items, but Stranger things is too popular for that). However, there are a number of exclusives and Chases that have a some decent value. The top 5 most vlauble Stranger Things POPs (according to PPG) are:
1. Steve: $95
2. 8-Bit Demogorgon Chase: $47
3. Eleven (Underwater): $44
4. Will (Upside Down): $41
5. Dustin (Brown Jacket): $34
In addition, there are 3 multipacks, which I didn't include because when you divide up the value between the POPs in the set, it's less than above. The three packs and their values are:
1. 8-Bit 5-Pack: $70
2. Eleven and Barb (Upside Down): $46
3. Eleven and Will: $41
1. Steve: $95
2. 8-Bit Demogorgon Chase: $47
3. Eleven (Underwater): $44
4. Will (Upside Down): $41

It's always interesting to hear different opinions and how two people can see totally different things when watching the same show. I personally thought season 2 was a very formulaic TV show. Very little about how the plot was set up and executed was unique in my opinion. Yes, season 1 paid homage quite a bit with the execution, but thought the story itself was much more original.

So before you pay any crazy prices. Check all locations first. Barnes and Nobles (depending on your area) still have a few Stranger Things Pops. GameStop, target, box lunch, Hot Topic and all those websites.

Yeah, we know this, they also have people who go through the sales listings and adjust prices based on those "autographed" or special ones.
