Luckily my boss is at the dentist so I was able to stalk Hot Topic. Got my Snape ordered, SO stoked! Now, back to work to earn money to spend on more Pops. ;-)

Hot Topic kinda dropped the ball - the system wouldn't allow you to check out using a Hot Topic credit card, which is total bs. So, I missed out on using my better promo code and extra points. But finally got everything to check out once I switched cards.

I had to make a tough call, walked away from Dragonzord. Liked it, didn't love it, and $25 finished me off. So far in for one of the First Doctor's, and that's it.

I was short ten bucks 5 if my 5 dollars off coupon would have worked. Oh well. I wasn't super invested in it

Did you try to use the promo code with the HT CC? I used a HT CC promo code and my Visa card, no issues.

I ordered a HT Lockjaw and I'm wondering if it's worth also getting the NYCC sticker one as well.................idk why. I'm an OOB collector. I sort of just want 2 fuzzy lockjaws. why? whats wrong with me

Well, I'm about half of what I wanted, which is worse than I thought it would be.

Got the 1st Doctor last night, so happy about that.
Went to my closest B&N this morning, they opened at 9 and the people there wiped them out of Batman before I even got there, and I just didn't want anything else, so very unhappy about that.
Went to the mall, stood outside of GS about 10 minutes early, found out Hot Topic opened a half hour early so left GS and rushed there. Thankfully...got all 3 I wanted, plus a couple different ones for the wife.
Went back to GS right as the very unfriendly guy opened, and he promptly told those of us waiting that they weren't getting ANY NY stuff in today. He said to come back tomorrow.
Whaaaat? I call BS. but he was very grumpy and clearly didn't want to deal with us, so I left empty handed.
Took a chance and went to a TRU nearby, walked around a bit and finally found a guy who said he wasn't aware of any NY stuff and that maybe it was coming on a later truck. I've worked retail, I know that's a BS line to get people to leave you alone.

So overall, got 4 out of 6 of my main wants, but seeing as thought Wolverine and Superman are my favorite characters, I'm pretty disappointed. I'd try GS online, but their shipping is too high for me, so I'll try other stores when I'm done at 3, although I don't expect much luck at that point. As for Superman, I just don't know.

Now I have a long afternoon before I can leave, lol

Sigh-Hot Topic went up while I was driving to work. Then had a hot issue to look into. Missed Dragonzord and Scrooge. DH is going to check out the local one for me. He went to check B&N, but they weren't open and there are about 10 people waiting outside. He did check Target and they didn't have anything (he had to go there anyway).
Looks like f5 will be my constant companion today.

Toys R Us Beast Man was the one I wanted the most. I get there at 9:02, there are 4 people ahead of me, and they have the cases of Pops but said they can't sell them right now. So they passed paper around for us to leave our numbers for when they can sell them. THEN they decided they can sell them and to meet up front to get what you want. I saw one guy holding a Beast Man, but when I got up there she told me they were out of them.....which unless the guy bought all of them theres no way. Soooo I left empty-handed. No wonder that place is going under.

I use Visualping to monitor page changes, it's a Chrome plugin. You can have it monitor the Dragonzord and Scrooge to see if they release any more throughout the day.
