1) The difference between 2000 and 5000 is a lot in terms of exclusives.

3) The people in the market for Freddys mostly already belong to the Funatics and/or would have signed up for the lottery.

There's no reason for these to be selling more than LE425 Freddys other than people being impatient or shill bidding.

I agree that Qui Gon wasn't the best example, but it is undeniable that demand is important. Take Otto (from Spatik Plastik) the LE 3000 version goes for about $25 and both the LE 480 versions go for about $40. Then take the LE 3000 Tony the Tiger. It goes for $125 and the Tony was more available to the public because it was online and not just at the POP Up Shop.

True! I feel that this Holo freddy will definitely shoot up in price and probably hold it's value because of how hard it was to get it and considering it was Funko's Free gift to it's fans. Thank god my girl got one so i can share with her lol

Still having hope these are still being shipped or in process of shipping. I barely remember submitting my form but I am hopeful for something to show up at the doorstep. I'm glad a lot of you Funatics have been receiving them. Love seeing the pics of Freddy! The glow is so cool! Seriously could be a night light. Lol

I'm not a big Freddy collector but really liked this piece, especially since it was a THANK YOU for voting. It would have meant something to have one.
Not only did I vote, I posted the link here on the forums so all of the Funatics could participate. The mods moved the thread for more visibility (which I appreciated) and more Funatics got involved to help Funko make the win.
Yet in the end, I did not get one. I did not know about the silent Funatic registration and was stuck registering in the public one. So to see people who did not vote getting a THANK YOU gift or selling them immediately....that does sting a bit.

Mine is shipping through UPS, but was tendered to USPS for delivery. All day Friday it says it was "Out for Delivery", but then around 10:00pm on Friday, the status bar turned Orange and it said that there was no update (but apparently there should have been). Has this ever happened to anybody else?
Should I be worried? If I file a missing package do you think they would compensate me enough to buy one from ebay?

It's actually going to a Family member's office, where they have their mail room staff pick up the mail from the Post Office across the street. This makes me hopeful that it was picked up, but they said out for delivery, so their system didn't update properly.

Nah, you are way overselling this. This is not a super rare Fundays Freddy. It is a freebie that was given out far and wide. 5k is a HUGE number for a Freddy. I would not be surprised to see this selling for 30 or 40 after the initial hype dies down. I would argue that the LE2000 robot Freddy is far more desirable, and It sells in the 80 range. This one will fall well under that price range.

People ALWAYS overpay for exclusives on eBay right after they come out. It takes several weeks for the price to level out to a realistic level. Don't pay any attention to eBay right now.

That's how I felt about the HQ psh and pin I missed because they ran out before my slot. It would be cool to have but I couldn't make myself buy one on ebay. Can't reward the people who took advantage.

Congrats to people who got the Freddy, he glows so pretty!

I feel ya. I voted multiple times using my various email accounts & work addresses, and even had my coworkers vote. obviously not for the gift, since that was announced after they won. Sad that moochers jumped at the opportunity to snag something free to flip.

So I wasn't home when this was delivered because I was at men's retreat with my church. The wife texted me pictures, but this thing looks amazing in person. It was awesome to see it when I got home. I also love how apparently it was sent in a nondescript box, so it was very hard for anyone handling to know what it was exactly.
