This is a really cool idea! I would break my no mini rule for Freddy. But I don't think licensing would allow them to do it. I'm fairly certain Funko isn't allowed to sell the character Freddys. That's why they are only ever given at Fundays.

But I'd still collect the crap out of them.

You might be right about that, they do only give "Character Freddys" out at Fundays. The Freddys on Funko Shop are their ideas like the Astronaut,Robot,Zodiac etc. Great observation!
