I tried and failed on the Darth but working an 8-5 makes it tough sometimes! I'm really hoping AZ will get another wave of them in so I can try again!! Unless anyone in AZ ended up with doubles?!

My store only had one left at the 44th st and Thomas location so I got super lucky

Seems to be 'off' over here too, we tried calling some places showing green with multiples and nada.. I know it's hard to trust calling but trying to save from driving all over town... specially when we're possibly looking at a 120 degrees this weekend!!

I was able to cop a couple at my fairly local Target! Yay!!!

My only complaint, and it's on all the deluxe and oversize Pops in my experience, they're always a bit dinged up, got a box cutter line, etc. etc. They're thicker cardboard so you would believe they'd be less vulnerable but it's a softer cardboard so dents, creases, waves. Anyways, I'm just thrilled to have gotten one at retail price!

I was freaking out this morning because people in northern california were already getting them and I hadn't heard anything about it yet, so I missed out at a few Targets, but my home target still hasn't gotten anything yet. Only a handful got them. My 3 closest Targets did not. The 4th closest one had them. That one NEVER has anything good! They're good for nothing! So I expected nothing but gave them a call this morning and they not only had them but were willing to put one on hold for me! These days more and more of the Targets won't for popular items like this. Anyways, I told them to hold the nicest one they got and then headed out and when I got there they had 4!! I took the one that was reserved and kindly asked if I could get another one. They were reluctant, but I came with my 4 year old son and insisted he loved Star Wars too ... which he does! He even told the guy he likes Darth Vader so they relented and gave us two. The only drawback is for the second one he gave us the worse conditioned one and it was pretty dented up but beggars can't be choosers right? Anyways, got the two, did some more shopping and headed home a happy camper!

I'd love to swap out the beat up one with a nicer one so I'm going to keep my eyes open at the other Targets too. People can be harsh on Targets with their exclusives but in my personal experience they've been one of the best and most reliable to be able to get at least ONE of the exclusives. I'll take them over Walgreens or Walmart everyday all day.

I'm in San Diego, and it's really tough to find Target/Wal-Mart/Walgreens exclusives in store. When I do find them, the boxes are almost always damaged so badly nobody wants them unless they're OOB collectors. I'll keep looking, but I'll most likely have to find this on line.

I'm sure if there were videos of me trying to describe what I'm looking for, I would be a YouTube sensation! As soon as they put me on hold I'm like.."what the heck did I just say?!?"

The combination of BrickSeek and a tenacious husband got us one in Sacramento. They told us the shipment had just arrived and wasn't on the floor, then when we got there, said no they hadn't seen them yet but went back to look and found one with a slightly damaged box in the back (like someone cutting through the box had cut through the top. We take ours out of the box anyway so this was fine to us! They seem to still be arriving this week in staggered shipments - Rocklin and Rancho Cordova seem to go through their merch the slowest for fellow Sacratomatans looking for their best chances.

Yeah, there are some shady Targets. I had to Brickseek for my location and I waited outside from about 6:30 in the morning to grab one. Just have to keep checking. Hopefully there will be another release.

I've heard this at a few locations as well regarding the employee theft etc...and same deal, we see it in the system but can't find them. That's what we have to deal with when trying to get our collectibles at chains that don't cater to that market and I HATE it with a passion. But $$$ talks to it is what it is. Good luck on the hunt
