Actually got most of the shared exclusives I wanted. KJ Joker, Batgirl, Rainbow Batman, Hawkgirl all picked up in-store. Then have orders out for Chef #TeamDeadpool and Shane. Only ones I still need are Indy (obviously), and Grenade Joker. I'm not counting the nonshared two Scott Pilgrims (which now get put in the HM Ghost Grail category).

I hear ya. The only NON - Shared exclusive i really really want is the Freddy I heart Funko Dorbz. so i know what you mean. he's now going onto my unobtainable grail list with bobs big boy.

I had some good luck and some bad luck today. I went to the mall this morning and got my Harley Quinn Dorb from HT. They only had one of her, so it's good I got there when I did. They had plenty of the NYCC Pops. I considered Batgirl, but all of them had sloppy yellow paint, especially on the legs, and the faces had issues too. There seemed to be a space between where the face and the mask met on a lot of them. It seemed like there was a line of white or grey paint that followed the line between. Either that or it was a crack. It was hard to tell in the dim HT lighting. I don't know if it's supposed to be like that or not. They didn't have Ahsoka yet, which is the item I wanted the most. I checked GS after, but they didn't have anything yet. I checked the stock info right before going there, and it still said out of stock for both GSs in my area, so I wasn't expecting to find anything. During the noon hour I checked the stock info again, and their shipments finally arrived at both stores. I didn't feel like going back to the mall, so I went to the other location that's in a strip mall instead. I was able to get my Kitty Pryde, which is the NYCC exclusive Pop I wanted the most. They had a decent amount of her and Trunks left, but they had completely sold out of Joker and Batman already. Luckily I didn't want them anyway. The employees at that location are all very friendly. The employees at the regular mall location are usually quite rude, and I have a feeling one of them in particular is keeping the good Pops that show up for himself. He literally complained when I was buying the only GS exclusive Harley they had in early June. He said something like, "Awe man, you're buying the GS Harley instead of the regular one". Since then a lot of the good Pops have been mysteriously absent from the store shelves.

I checked B&N just for the heck of it while I was at the regular mall too. They had plenty of Hawkgirl, but no Joker. I considered Hawkgirl, but decided to pass. I just don't like it enough to pay $15 for it. I felt the same way about Batgirl. I did however find a common Selina Kyle there which I bought as an impulse purchase. I really like the way she looks, and had considered her as a possible purchase online about 5 months ago. It's the first time I have seen her in the wild.

I was considering Bistan, but missed out on him. I don't think I would have bought him anyway after seeing how much shipping would have made it cost. I hear their shipping is ridiculously high. My interest in him is very low.

So overall I got two NYCC exclusives, the Kitty Pryde Pop and the Harley Quinn Dorb, and a common Selina Kyle for a nice little bonus. I'll have to check HT again this weekend or next week to see if they have Ahsoka yet. After I get her I should be able to take the rest of the month off from Pop hunting. This was my first NYCC shared exclusive hunt. I had fun, but while I did have success, it wasn't as fun or successful as SDCC was.

One other little complaint I have is how I was able to use a $5 reward on SDCC exclusives at HT in July, but once I got another $5 reward in time for NYCC, they wouldn't let me use it this time. The cashier said it can't be used on new items during the first week of release. Garbage. I wish the employee who was working the morning of SDCC was there instead. I'll just have to try to use it on something else before it expires next month.
