NYCC Late Night Pop Shopping

I'm so annoyed, either Gemini didn't get Qui Gon or he sold out before I could get to the site and he was the only one I would have wanted that isn't shared anywhere. As it is I still feel like we were done dirty by Qui Gon not being a common in the first place

Maybe Qui Gon will be a Thursday or Friday surprise in the Funko-Shop. In a Facebook group someone claimed Gemini had 6 for $100 each and they sold out immediately.

He was on their for like 10 seconds. Plus he was already priced at $100 which is insane. So even if they do have some cancelled orders or restocks they'll just keep bumping up the price which is absurd.

Ugh. I would have paid $100 for sure. Especially since Ebay pre-orders are $250+ and Leia Unmasked was $100 within a few weeks of SDCC ending (but not during)

Gemini used to sell at convention prices which is why everyone loved buying from them during the cons

i missed when gemini NYCC went live, so i assumed i missed qui gon. i was glad just to get one of the scott pilgrims for $50. i shouldn't have blinked and i could have gotten both of them. LOL

Congrats to everyone who managed to score what they wanted last night/this morning! I've got Kitty and Trunks on hold at my Gamestop, but so far none of the GS's in my area have Killing Joke Joker. A little nervous about that haha but I'm holding out hope that more trickle in throughout the day.

As for Gemini's prices...yeah, sorry, I wasn't about to shell out 60 bucks for a singular Scott Pilgrim figure. Back in the day, maybe, when I had the money and gall to just toss it away like this, but I can't justify paying more than $30 for a Pop these days, con exclusive or not.

Which is a shame, because Scott and GitD Wolfman are going to be selling for a LOT more than 30 once the con's over -_-

In the meantime, what are some of the Pops most people are looking for today? I literally only have three that I'm looking for and they're all at GameStop. So if anyone missed out on something from, say, BN or HT, hit me up and I'll go looking for you.

Also I was able pre-order qui-gon from gamestop about 2 months ago when they saw it in their system, I wonder if that will get honored.

Its funny how hype can raise the price of a piece even though he's a 2000 run, right now Qui is the most expeniseive pop on eBay I saw from nycc even more then metallic green ranger. I wouldn't worry for those of you who want him though there's 2000 and he'll start popping up a lot on eBay and they'll reduce the price some. It just crazy how the funko game is on the second market nowadays it always cracks me up. I'm just glad the only thing I wanted the most was a shared exc so I got to sleep, I'll just pick it up at my GS sometime.

I was unable to find the NYCC stuff on their website, but if you're in Raleigh or near another one of their stores, they have stock. Give em a call to hold, then go pick them up. And... in store they have the buy 3 get 1 free promotion right now.
