Ad Icons Mystery Minis

Great things come in mysterious miniature or pint sized packages, but which great thing will it be? It's all a mystery until you open one. Then the fun begins.

That really sucks, and I feel your pain - had the same thing happen to me with a different set at B&N last weekend! Was really lucky in that I opened the box in front of the cashier. Still haven't figured out how they reattached the plastic wrap on it, but the box and bag were both open once I pulled off the wrap. I was prepared to just eat it on the mini, but he was really nice and asked if I wanted to go pull a different one to make up for it. Really grateful to the kind cashier, but on the other side of that - why are people animals???

I've bought a few straight out the shipper box where the inner black bag was open. Just this morning found a Boo Berry that way (thought it was Sprout :( )

Sometimes the black bag is opened, but it's a factory error, not someone tampering with it.

Yeah, the black bag alone is okay - I kinda like it when they're open actually, just makes my life easier. This batch of boxes open really easily, too, which is nice. Some of the boxes practically have to be destroyed to get to the mini inside, but not this batch! It just amazes me how many boxes I find on the shelves that aren't shrink wrapped anymore!

I wouldn't buy those. Too risky.

Oh, absolutely too risky. I learned that the hard way with a Star Wars batch. The boxes had lost their shrink wrap, and one of them was actually open - a bad glue job. Just for giggles, I tried to feel through the bag to see who it was, and it was a Hermione mini. In a Star Wars box. I was so disgusted with whoever returned it back to the store. Grabbed the bunch and marched up to the counter to let the sales person know that they needed to not accept returns that didn't have the wrap, but also told her that I knew it probably wasn't up to her. She at least said she'd let her manager know.

Recently had a similar situation at Target with these. Just walked away from the bunch!

I’m starting to believe Fruit Brute is really 1/144. I see so many Sprouts for sale/trade but hardly any Fruit Brutes. I’ve also found so many fresh cases across multiple stores and never found one.

I found 2 out of 4 untouched cases lol. It's all just randomness and how lucky you are to find the case that has Fruit Brute.

I feel like it's a different issue, actually, that I've had with other series - I think that areas get the same cases a lot of the time. When I was hunting the Endgame minis, all I could find at Target was case B. I had to go SERIOUSLY out of my area to find a non-B case. It was ridiculous. So maybe it's people hunting, finding multiple cases, and they all got the same case at their local stores? So frustrating!

Target near me just finally got the Nickelodeon minis in, so here's hoping that the people who haven't gotten the ad icons in there area that they are still coming, just very very slowly.

Nah, I have the whole set already. I just wanted to find one because it’s the only one I hadn’t found in the wild.

I was right up there with you in terms of fresh cases... found mine at a B&N that has had the case in stock for about 3 weeks. It was still untouched when I went over the weekend.

](*,) , wish my cases would sit untouched like that! Still hunting a Boo Berry for a friend, and a few others for another friend. But everything is picked over around here at this point, so unlikely to happen. But I'll still keep an eye out! All it takes is 1 store and 1 case!
