Through the Looking Glass Minis

Forgive me if there is already a thread on this somewhere, I couldn't find it. Anyhow, took a trip to the local Books-a-Million today and found an entire untouched case of these little beauties. Took some pictures for your guys of how this case was laid out. Full disclosure: The guy checking me out did not, despite my asking THREE times, take care to keep the top row in order. I think I know where everyone came from, but the top 6 could be off. Anyhow, adorable pictures below. Things of note. 1) The Bandersnatch does not weigh as much as you would think he would. I think he is hollow, though he does fill out the entire box. AKA you could feel him by squeezing the box lightly. 2) My Red Queen is missing a crown. Not sure if they are supposed to have it or not. The box art shows a crown, but the box art also differs, notably on the Bandersnatch, Time Guy, and Queen. Anyway, overall I am thrilled, and the only chase I'm gonna need is Happy-Hatter.

Top Row (Hare and Alice at the front of box, Alice and White Queen at back):

Glad the Bandersnatch is 1/12. I was expecting him to be a 1/36 or 1/72.

Just bought a case and got the same layout. Now on a mission to get the others plus the hottopic exclusive. This is the only mystery mini set that i will complete.

Just be careful. He really isn't that heavy, as he seems to be hollow. He does fill out the whole box though.

Called the HT near my work and asked if they got these in yet, they got two cases in so I had them hold one for me, and thus... This will be happening later!

Looking forward to it! It's my first full case purchase of minis, thanks in part to hot cash!

Whoot! I am excited for you. Let us know what you get. If you could post your layout for confirmation then tonight I think I will have a layout ready for everyone for the HT cases. I am 90% sure I know where everyone is.

Found an untouched case at BAM today, so I got my Bandersnatch. Lovin' it! To those that have found these, were the individual boxes shrink-wrapped? I was surprised to find that none of the boxes were wrapped in the case I found today.

I was wondering if it was a "green" effort.

Interesting. I wonder if it is an effort to cut down on plastic use.

Hell, people have been ripping them open when they are wrapped anyway, so what's the difference?
