Harry Potter Mystery Minis

Great things come in mysterious miniature or pint sized packages, but which great thing will it be? It's all a mystery until you open one. Then the fun begins.

Harry Potter Mystery Minis

Postby RyGuySlytherin » Wed Mar 09, 2016 12:30 pm

Ive been excited for these as soon as they were announced :D Any word on when they are coming out? My guess would be Summer but that is just a guess. Hopefully this line doesn't have too many exclusives

Admittedly I was excited for these as was my GF until we saw them. They are too cutesy for us. I prefer the Horror, Walking Dead sculpt style. Considering all the characters they could have, adding the pets seemed weird as well.
I tried to quit, then Fallout 4 minis happened.

I feel the same way. I would be a lot more excited if they were in the style you mentioned. I may pick up a few, but I don't plan on chasing them all down.

I've yet to see any pictures of them. I'm kind of curious of where people have seen them at.

That would be why I haven't seen them. I didn't get a chance to download it before it went offline.

That's what I thought too until I kept glancing at them in the catalog. They definitely grew on me. I really like this style of eyes, I just wish they had actual poses. The Batman V Superman style would be ideal for these at least for me. I wouldn't buy them if they had the big sad eye versions like Walking Dead or Arkham.

I'd be down for the Batman V Superman style too. Or, even the Fallout style, which to me was almost a hybrid of the two. These just remind me too much of Dorbz, which I am not a fan of at all.

The Disney Princesses were better in person, IMO. I'm hoping I feel the same way about these.

On the Pottermore site there is an article on the new artwork that has been exclusively released in Japan for the Harry Potter line. At the end of the article it showed a portion of the artwork for these and states that they will be released in the US and UK in July! Happy Birthday to me!!!

I must get all of these. This will be the first line of Mystery Mini that we will get them all. Every store exclusive and variant, if there are any.
I would have preferred them to look more adult. They look like they should be in the Rock Candy line.
But regardless, these are must haves.

2014 had an exclusive Disney:S2 set with different figures and poses from the main set, as well as the Game of Thrones black & white "In Memorium" set.

I would go broke buying Harry Potter mini's at SDCC, so fingers crossed it doesn't happen LOL But I can't wait - I usually don't buy mini's, but I have to remain true to my HP fandom :)

So excited for these!!! I think the Hot Topic exclusive for Harry is actually his Tri-Wizard outfit, not the Quidditch uniform. I was looking at the rarities they showed on the back on the boxes and it looks like McGonagall in both forms is going to be the most difficult to find since they're both 1/72. Unless I am seeing it wrong the regular Hermione seems to be the only 1/6.

You are right now that I look at the mini. I can't post photos or I would show the back of the HT and regular boxes. They said they will be out in July so I expect them to come out around SDCC.
